Raven405
Haahh..... ok guys i think we don't need to put another argument here and there now. If you feel troubled with NMM because they are still under inspection and fixing why not just uninstall it and used FOMM or maybe the lowest NMM version but stay compatible with your all mods. Left it all trouble to the NMM team after we report specific the bug and more better if you can suggest something useful than complaining with harsh words. We all know they are still under development and by download and used it you already agree to become their tester and it's all free. "We can’t guarantee your safety 100% when browsing and downloading from the Nexus. No other site can offer you that guarantee either. What I can guarantee you is that we work hard to try and make the experience as safe and secure as possible, and we work even harder when we know we’ve been breached, often without sleep." Read this lines people they already tell us what will happen if you used Nexus services but nor they force us to used it. That's all is your choice and by choose that we must ready anytime to bear the risk. But event like that they still care to do fixing and secure and they do that fast you don't even need to waiting for trouble approval list post for a week or maybe a month.... or maybe a years to get Admin response. Thorne67
BIG request. When installing a mod is it possible to have a right click "insall now" or a side panel button where that BIG RED X is that will allow one to install a mod for testing right when it's downloaded? MANY thanks for the TEXT file reading implementation and the pretty immediate fix on that bug there. Dunno why you implemented the PDF option. Only seen like 3 or 4 mods that had em. Next big request...can ya'll put a SEPARATE button in for MAKE A NEW CATAGORY? My computer is so sluggish with all the mods loading in I ended up with like 40 NEW folders and it takes FOREVER to delete em. Thanks n blessings to the team and take care. starfis
It would be nice if the description panel stayed in the same size and position every time I run the program. Now I have to resize it all the time. It did it before category update, which is btw great. Thanks

Okay i am too suspicious (bad English.....)Really? You don't. The internet is an inherently risky place. Remain vigilant, use multiple layers of security and your common sense. Ultimately you are responsible for your own safety.
spiderexpert
In response to post #7662273. the vast majority of mods can be installed with nmm just fine, it only takes a bit of savvy and a text editor to make an XML fomod file (a standard which has been around since what, fallout 3?), and most mods don't even need that - as long as you can drag'n'drop the files from the archive to skyrim's data directory the mod is nmm compatible. the only mods that would need to be installed outside of nmm are the ones that need to put files outside the Data directory, which is a pretty big security threat, and shouldn't be done willy-nilly. spiderexpert
In response to post #7654654. #7654743, #7654758, #7656217 are all replies on the same post. you say that, but the design of your site clearly indicates that using nmm is the intended experience (download nmm is the first thing on the page; "manual download" doesn't even have a button graphic, unlike "download with manager"; etc). therefore, every failure of nmm will reflect very poorly on nexus as a whole in the eyes of your users. a little quality assurance goes a long way. Thorne67
ENOUGH CHILDREN. Go into chat and argue about it. Have any ONE of you that have whined and complained about ANYTHING ever paid a PENNY for the work the Nexus team has put into ALL the mods or sites themselves? Have you paid one red cent for a mod or group of mods except as a donation? Have ANY of the Nexus team EVER DEMANDED ONE RED CENT? I was around when this ALL started. I appreciate all they've done and continue to do at their OWN expense. GO COMPLAIN IN THE CHAT ROOM. This area is for serious supporters and commenters. NOT children!
