Warhog67
On the ingame mod application for SE, I have a mod called JWD's Lydia replacement mod that I really like. However now going to Necus to get mods and use Vortex to load and apply them , I can not find the mod on Necus. After doing a Google search for it, I came across a message line on Nexus saying it was hidden and no reason given. Anyone know where I can get that mod on Nexus? Nexus and the ingame mod manager don't like each other so I am sticking with Nexus because of the outstanding and better selection of mods for Skyrim SE. Kudos to the Mod Makers. If the mod is hidden, then the modder either hid it because they don't have time to support it anymore, or they hid it because they're working on it, or they don't want to make it available anymore. Some mod authors leave their mods on Bethesda's site, but remove or hide them on the Nexus. You'll have to abide by what the modder wants. That's why I always back up the Mod Archives I download, in case they are removed by the mod author. Warhog67
I still have it on Bethesda's site , but not in Nexus. Oh well since the Bethesda's mod loader and Vortex hate each other ,I going to have to disable it and find another one. The one I have made her a little bit younger and not as scruffy and old like the vanilla version. But the replacement mod on Nexus makes her look like a child.:/
anjenthedog
I still have it on Bethesda's siteSo then can't you just download it direct and install from a local copy?
Warhog67
Not sure where to look for the file to be able to manually download it from. All I know is on the intro gump I select 'mods' and it logs me into their site to search and install mods. I wouldn't know how to begin with. If it's simply to copy the file(s) and paste them into a folder, sure I know how to do that. But exactly where and any special precepts to the installation of said file. No clue. Warhog67
Where can I find the Bethesda mod that I have location? I would like to copy it and manually install it instead of going through Bethesda's mod ingame installer.
