Morrowind Mods Not Working

My mod staging folder for Morrowind is:
D:\Games\Vortex\Morrowind

My Morrowind install folder is:
D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\Common\Morrowind

I've made sure to enable AND deploy all mods, and also went through and handled all the dependencies to make sure the mods were loading in the proper order.

I also have "Hardlink Deployment" turned on.

All that said, when I load up my save file after installing a bunch of mods from the Morrowind Graphics Guide, nothing looks any different, as it seems the mods are not working. It has been a very long time since I was a frequent mod user, and this is my first time playing and modding Morrowind, so perhaps I'm doing something wrong?

Did you run MGE XE and install it using the MGE EXE?

And did you install the MCP Morrowind Code Patch by running the EXE?

Did you also run the MGE and generate Distant Landscapes?

That seems to have worked. I had forgotten that step. Though now im running into issues with lots of error messages before the game starts and all the grass objects are bright yellow blobs... so i guess i need to work on load order more lol. But thanks for the help

EDIT: Turned on ONLY the Morrowind Enhanced 1.0 mod and it seems to be the source of the yellow blobs. I'm guessing the grass textures/models are somehow messed up but idk how.

Run MLOX and let it sort your load order
