High Level Enemies

What I'm looking for is rather simple:

- Your experience with the mod (How the mod has enhanced your gameplay respectively)
- Compatibility with other mods, specifically conflicts or small issues that can be either non-gamebreaking or can be fixed.
- What mods have you found that compliment between the two (Preferably significant mods)
- Any annoyances or bugs with the respective mod?
- If not between the two which mod would you suggest?

the scaled just means that even 'easy' encounters will have a ton of health at high levels, the armour doesn't add much. you should combine it with 'upgraded weapons and armours for enemies'.

skyrim unleashed, i tried when it first came out, made the game hard to get into but still leaves you godlike by the end. quite satisfying, it's a lot less sudden, so more like the unmodded game -but you can still steal a elven sword from level one no problems. if you don't play the same game all the way to 80+ then it's good. i haven't tried it recently. i think it's better for rp'ing: though, there is probably better realism type ones for that.

also there's a few good skyrealism bits to make enemies harder and scale well, the armour ones. the encounter zones also makes difficult areas use the high level enemies if you try and clear quest before you level up sufficiently. his new mega mod might even have all-in-one, not sure, some of his additions are hectic.

also if you add in lifestorocks two awesome creature mods, you should find things difficult enough.

if you need more you just need to add nightmare mode.. keke.

high level enemies is better IMO, its just got more polish.

but be careful of enemy scaling in high level enemies.

making all enemies be the same level as the player breaks skills like illusion.

thanks for the reply

how would HLE: scaled compare to Skyrim unleashed?

which is more difficult?

HLE would be more difficult

Unleashed intentionally makes enemies weaker relative to the player at high levels.

Unleashed might be more difficult at lower levels though.

Unleashed is also much more of an overhaul than HLE, so I'd be more worried about conflicts.

There's an optional file included with High Level Enemies that scales Illusion spells and other spells and abilities like werewolf howl so they don't lose effectiveness at high levels.

Hi All.

I was looking for a way to make my game harder (I'm level 50 now) without simply giving enemies a ton of HP and have me dealing less damage. I don't want to just have to shoot a ton of arrows into people. However, I'm not looking for a full overhaul at this point. I've added enemy AI overhaul, but was wondering if there's anything else. The high level mods in this forum thread look like they're basically adding HP to fix the scaling issue.

I turned up the difficulty and added locational damage to compensate for the high enemy HP, but locational damage does not always work.

thanks in advance

Frank

skyrim uncapper combined with the scaling should help for those wanting that illusion spell to work better(my caps 999, but i didnt increase skill gain rates to make it instant), another mod gives alot more armor slots so i most commonly have 6k AR and 1 or more weapons at 700 without beating 50 1H skill, and through one perks mod my destro master lightning spell does 2800
