Silent NPC-Free Quest Mods

Recommended Posts

I just ordered Skyrim and I'm looking for some quest mods, but I'm pretty picky. I just can't stand silent NPCs: it totally breaks my immersion and calls attention to the fact that I'm playing something that isn't part of the real game. I just can't deal with it. So, anyone got any recs for mods that

1. Have narratives that are driven and explained via, scrolls, books, letters etc.

OR

2. Are fully voice acted.

AND PREFERABLY

3. Decently voice acted and recorded (I care more about the latter; it's pretty immersion breaking when an NPC sounds like he's in a garage despite standing in the open air).

PS. Please don't tell me that I should learn to read. It's on my bucket list. I will get to it. And, yes, I'm not a real rpg player and I hate the classics because I have no imagination. I know this, so you don't need to say that either.

I'm just looking for recs, not explanations as to the magnitude of my suckage.

An evil character of some sort. I haven't yet worked out his motives yet, but I played skyrim on my xbox (RIP) as a white knight and oblivion as a noble thief, so I figured it's time for something different. Also, I want to fight against the dawnguard this time.

I'll probably play an as elf and most likely as a dark elf since they're the oppressed faction in skyrim.

As someone who had to cancel a quest mod 3 months in development because most voice actors chickened out on him, I understand where you're coming from. The problem is that quest mods are the only kind of mods you can't do solo, which means you need to depend on *shudder* other people.

The Nexus could have a "voice acted" checkbox similar to the millions of checkboxes you already get when creating a file, most of which useless.

I agree, it was REALLY difficult to find anyone willing to help until the mod was 95% done. Though the people I do have I can now hit up anytime and get reliable results :D I listed their names on my mod if you still need people and wanted to ask for them.
