Arthurian619
Okay, I haven't done any mods in a while been playing other games. I reinstalled Skyrim Special Edition, and Started, Got everything running great until I went to Dawnstar, It would Crash to Desktop all the time, and Couldn't figure it out, Later I figured out the problem but now its too late, and I am at wits end about to just give up, Figured I would try this first, The issue that I am having, is Mod Organizer 2, I got it and Installed it, but I was having mod Conflicts in ways that I couldn't fix that I was able to in Vortex, So I uninstalled MO2, Reinstalled Vortex, Now here is were things went to hell, Every time I download a Mod, it does it fine, some mods Deploy when Others wont, Before I messed with MO2 I had no Problems with Vortex, The only reason I switched was just about every help page I went to was Using MO2 and Saying Vortex is Garbage.I have tried so much, I looked up on Forums, All my settings and folders are correct, Like I said I set it all up once before, But anyways, I tried uninstalling it and the game, and all their Sub folders or anything linked, Even the stuff in the Registry and Appdata, I have tried it all but Still even when I reinstall the game it wont Deploy, Right now everything is uninstalled, Gonna Reinstall it soon, But I dont know what to do
HadToRegister
OK, you said you REINSTALLED VortexSo, were you using Vortex at first, then switched to MO2, and then switched back to Vortex? If so, I really hope the first thing you did was PURGE all your mods in Vortex, then UNINSTALLED them all, then switched to MO2, installed your mods, then once you decided to move back to Vortex I hope you UNINSTALLED all the mods you installed with MO2, using MO2, before you reinstalled Vortex.Otherwise, you're doomed to failure because you have leftover mods installed with Vortex, then MO2, then Vortex again

Arthurian619
The main issue that I have been having after getting this far is I download a mod, then Install it, and Deploy it, but after I deploy it and look in the plugins, the mod is not there Some mods like SkyUI and FNIS will show up in the plugins, But things like SSE Engine Fixes or Just say for instance Cloaks of Skyrim, Wont show up in the pligins, or when I run Loot they dont even show up on my list of Mods

The reason mods like FNIS and SkyUI will show up in the PLUGINS tab, uis because they have Plugins, AKA ESP, ESM, ESL etc. The reason that mods like SSE don't show up in the Plugins tab, is because they have DLLs and not ESPs, or ESM etc, instead they have DLLs that get installed into the Data\SKSE\ folder. When you installed CLoaks of Skyrim, did you get a menu popup where you had to pick the options you wanted to install?
Arthurian619
I tried something, I think worked, I deleted the pugins list, I remembered a time when I used to Manually install all my addons and adjust my load order, well I deleted that file and it seems its adding in all my addons
Arthurian619
another question when it says to overwrite Nobles skyrim over Smim, How do you do that with Vortex, I figured it out on MO2, but not sure on vortex how to overwrite
HadToRegister
another question when it says to overwrite Nobles skyrim over Smim, How do you do that with Vortex, I figured it out on MO2, but not sure on vortex how to overwrite However, did you install both of the mods yet?Because Vortex will tell you there's a Conflict, and then you can deal with it then You have to click on MANAGE RULES in the MODS Tab Then in the Left hand box FInd NOBLES in the Dropdown, or start typing in NOBLEs in the left hand box, and it will "Dig Down" as you type in more and more letters, and select NOBLES. Then in the Right Hand box, Find SMIM in the drop down. In the MIDDLE Box, select MUST LOAD AFTER Then click apply.
