Mods not working in Skyrim even though they are recognized and deployed

Hi I recently decided to come back into modding and install some mods.

I have about 15 mods installed and when I launch the game only about 2 of the mods are actually appearing in the game and working. When I go into the mods section in Skyrim they show up there but don't have a check next to them. I have checked and they are installed and deployed I am even using LOOT and it is not fixing it.

I have searched this up and am amazed that no one else has talked about this if someone could please help me that would be much appreciated.

DO NOT use standalone LOOT, it's already built into Vortex.

So should I just uninstall LOOT and on Vortex is there anything that I have to do to configure the load order or is it all good by itself?

Vortex handles your load order by itself.

The only time you should mess with the load order of the esps, is if Vortex complains.

IF Vortex isn't warning you of anything, it's good to go usually.

Oh ok thanks good to know but I also went into my plugins and enabled all the mods there and it seemed to work. Is that what you are supposed to do lmao

Well, that's ONE way to do it.

The other way is

Go to SETTINGS----->INTERFACE
Turn On
Deploy Mods when Enabled
Enable Mods when installed (in current profile)
