SluggoV2
I recently went back to playing Fallout 4 and updated my mods and all of that. FO4 was installed in my old Steam library (D:/), so I moved it to another Steam library (G:/) on a different drive (HDD to SSD drive). Then I moved my Vortex folder to the same drive (D:/ to G:/) by copying the file and manually moving it to the new drive. I then changed the settings for Vortex to look at the new folder (G:/Vortex Mods/Fallout4), however now I get an external changes error and prompted to either save or revert. I am confused. Saving deletes the file and reverting restores them? What do I need to do here? (looks like my old files are now gone from D:/, so would saving be correct as I do not want to save the copies) Thanks
HadToRegister
You've completely messed everything up by manually copying/moving your Mod Staging Folder, because you've broken ALL of the Hardlinks, and now, windows has copied them to the new drive as actual files, rather than links, so at this point it doesn't matter what you do.You should've read the threads in this forum on how to properly move your Vortex Installation and Mod Staging folder
