MrHildebrand
So I'm trying to edit the color of an armor mod. It's suppose to be black but not pitch black. I am using gimp and all I can come up with is pitch black or a a shade of black with a green tint over it. I have been messing with the color levels but I just can't figure it out. Twizzler77
I don't know GIMP at all, but you could try: - Desaturating the layer completely- Add a Desaturate adjustment layer (PS terminology, might not apply)- Use a grayscale image instead of RGB Hope this can point in you in a good direction! MrHildebrand
Thank you! It took some time messing around with Desaturating but I finally got it. I guess I should learn how to use photoshop already.
Dhegonus
desaturate is such a basic and gives "meh" colouring, if gimp has a color mixer utility, use that, check monchromatic, then play with the RGB and contrast numbers:)
