Yeild if you have a high karma or good rep with the town. But normally if people see you commit a crime; even if they dont like the person, it still is a CRIME. Good people dont like crime and will attack for it.

 

If you think it should work differently go into GECK and change the faction of the person you dont like and people shouldn't care if you attack them or not.

you can Knock the NPC out strap a Bomb to them watch them run then detanate the bomb of corse at a safe distance.

Welcome to the 'real' world, my friend (suddenly the feel of calling you a friend give me the creeps).

 

Yes, I had already wondered if killing one's friend is a mistake for a long time ago, maybe when I was yet younger than you, And got a surprising auto answer: Yes, even if the murdered is not a friend of anyone.

 

The reason is people don't like people that murder people, they tend to think the murderer is worse than the murdered with a reason: one may think himself handsome and righteous but not everyone will agree with this, mainly when the actions tells the contrary.

 

Now if there is a mod to prevent this... I hope not. And your thug/raider FO3 char should do a less educated guess and run like hell with the tail between the legs or face consequences, even if this do mean killing all the wasteland's life or die trying it.
