HadToRegister
I purged the mods, hit accept, uninstalled Vortex and re-installed and I'm still getting the error... https://i.imgur.com/uf3QjnM.png Yes, but did you do that BEFORE you uninstalled and moved your games to the K:\ drive? It doesn't matter NOW if you do it.
UncleDuckjob
Well at the very least I can still download the file and use the 'Install from File' option, but I still want to understand this, because I'm wholly incapable of letting stuff go. How do I get Vortex to 'Forget' what it knows about my file structure (that I hate, so so much but have no choice in) in order to install from the site again? ADHD is a hell of a drug, and I'm trying to understand, but try and assume that I'm the idiot I know I am.

Why would you download all the mods you already downlaoded? They should still be in the Downloads folder.

UncleDuckjob
Oh, and it wasn't so much as a 'Move' as it was - when I re-installed Windows and started re-installing my games and steam, etc - I just put all the games on the drive, K:. It was never really a move because my previous iteration of Windows was damaged, so I had no choice but to uninstall Windows to get my computer back. I would have had no chance to run Vortex in order to purge it previously, so I need to get it to forget or something. Is there a 'Nuke Account and Start Over' option on the Nexus? UncleDuckjob
I deleted the folder, re-installed Vortex, re-authorized it, re-added my games, and even installed a few mods by hand, but the link still doesn't work on the site when I click 'Download: Vortex >> Download' The game works, but not the adding of mods. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong and it's a simple fix. Probably doesn't help that I'm as sharp as a sack of hair.
UncleDuckjob
I'm just uninstalling everything, games, steam, everything. Then I'm going to search my drives for any mention of the word 'Vortex' and make sure all the folders are deleted. I don't know what else to try... I cleared my Cache and Cookies in Chrome, Closed Chrome, Clicked the 'Fix' and Toggled 'Handle' off and on, then I restarted my computer and tried the fix again... Still the same error. I even tried it in Edge, and I've never even opened Edge before, so I don't know what I'm missing. It's still looking for something that ISN'T F@%#ING THERE AND I CAN'T MAKE IT STOP. I'm sorry - you're taking time out of your day to help me, and I'm being grumpy. I'm still getting used to the mental fog from the renal issues and dialysis I'm dealing with, and I just know it's something stupidly simple that I'm missing...
