ConnorKolan
As the title says I recently swapped my hdd for a bigger one and forgot to delete all the mods I managed in Fallout 4, I thought I would just copy the mod directory and give it to vortex but it wasnt that simple.I had the same problem with Skyrim too but once I showed Vortex Skyrims directory everything was fine and the mods worked. In Fallout however after I showed Vortex the directory it detected it with 84 mods active (Skyrim was the same). When I click on manage game I get the attached error for just about every mod I had. In Skyrim I had the same problem but after clicking ignore once it all worked, but here the error doesnt stop and comes again and again. So my question is: What can I do to fix this? I have reinstalled Vortex and Fallout.I'm sorry if my question is a bit confusing please just ask if you want to know anything.
HadToRegister
You needed to PURGE all your mods first, before you swapped drives, in order to sever the HardlinksThere's so many threads about this in the forum
ConnorKolan
I have resolved the problem. The problem was that Vortex was expecting a D: drive but I only had a C: and E: drive. So I put a dvd into my dvd reader which was recognized as D: drive and tried to manage fallout again and it worked. I got many error messages but I was able to change the mod folder to my new hdd and then reinstall all my mods.

You could've just gone into the Administrator Management Screen and change the Drive Letter without having to install another drive and hoping the drive letters work out.Type in MANAGEMENT on the start menu in windows, and select COMPUTER MANAGEMENT Then select DISK MANAGEMENT, then just right click on any of the drives (EXCEPT C:) and select "CHANGE DRIVE LETTER AND PATHS"
