I seriously cannot believe how everyone here can't seem to grasp something simple without having to have a kindergarden explanation about what's going on

 

So I have written an explanation just for the imappared people in this topic

 

Lets go oevr this

 

1. I was told I need either intenet explorer 7 or mozila to view this:

OK...FOR THE LAST TIME.... I......HAVE.....INTERNET......EXPLORER.......7

 

2. I was told you need Adobe Shockwave player installed as well:

OK....FOR THE LAST TIME.......I......HAVE........ADOBE...........SHOCK...WAVE............PLAYER 11...........INSTALLED......MY....COMPUTER...

 

So now you all can stop telling me programs I need that i already have ok there should be no more discussion of the progrmas I need I have them adn posted pics proving it so that kills any more talk about me not having the right progrmas.

 

 

So if you know I have these programs, then why do you all keep telling me I need them for?

Lets concentrate on the source of the problem now ans that's the file

 

When I try to open the file it clearly says that I have to have the ORIGINAL PROGRAM THAT WAS USED

this does not mean repeatedly tell me to install proograms I already have instealled such as Adobe Shockwave player 11 and internet explorer 7

 

This message is very, very, clear about what it says.

This message means that the person who created this program, has a special tool that he created it with, and the tool that was used to create it needs to be supplied by the maker of the file.

 

I don't see how anyone is having trouble understanding this.

 

So now that the source of the problem has been PROVEN, hows about contacting the original maker of the file and have them upload the tool so people can view this file.

Here is what you people are doing to me

LEts say a special piece of paper needs a #2 pencil to write on and nothing else but a #2 pencil will work, and you told me you have a #2 pencil to wite on it with, and nothing is coming out, then I wouldn't keep telling you to use a #2 pencil or that yoru holding teh pencil wrong and your the one doing something wrong.

 

I would have teh balls to admit it's the paper and not hte person with the #2 pencil

But that's what you all are telling me to do. Your telling me to use programs i clearly not only told you I have but have also provided screenshots proving it. and yet you are all still telling me I need the programs I already have to view this file

 

Again I want someone in full explicit detail to expplain to me where the part comes in where i did something wrong?

 

If you can't then stop saying it and except the fact it's broken and remove it...end of story.

If you double click then choose the little button that says select the program from a list and hit ok and choose your web browser from the list and hit ok OR just open your browser and drag the file into the browser, there is absolutly nothing wrong with the file im looking at the map right now, OR download a swf viewer and use that to open the file.

 

Your kidding with this crap right?

Also, in case you're thinking it's a malicious link, it's just a JPEG image, since the image resolution is 1280x800 and therefore would stretch the board, which I'm pretty sure the mods won't appreciate. Just saying, seeing the paranoia of OP.

Your posts are starting to get very annoying TX.

• Flash is a common web standard that many people (as evidenced in this thread) know about.
  
• If you don't have the stand alone player you can still view the file by dragging it into Firefox/Internet Explorer.
  
• You can't bundle the software in with the file because Flash is not open source. It is a copyrighted product owned by a company
  
• If you have problems you contact moderators and use the necessary reporting features. You don't try to smeer crap over the name of certain mods just because you're too incompetent to work it out for yourself

that just shows that .swf aren't associated with a program, your computer most likely can run it, it just doesn't know that.
