OK, was an old player for the original Skyrim. Played over 2 years. Got the SE version after a new PC. Great version. Then tried to load a few mods using vortex. OK at first, then after adding a few more mods the game refused to load. Went back and uninstalled most everything. Still no game! At this point, am holding vortex responsible until this issue is resolved and I can get my game back...

Well, we're going to need more info than that.

Sounds like everything was going well until you added some mods that either conflict, are missing masters or something.

Since Vortex was working fine until you added more mods, then Vortex isn't the culprit, and it's more the cause of what mods you added, so how about posting an actual list of the mods you installed, and tell us when Skyrim stopped working, and the mods you installed that stopped it from working

So, let's see a list of the mods you're using, which mods you installed when Skyrim stopped working etc.

Nobody can help you with just the small rant you posted, DETAILS are needed.

Also, where is your game installed? Which Drive?

Where is your Mod Staging Folder set to? Hopefully it's the same drive that your game is on.

i'm going to suggest reading isn't your strongpoint here, so here's a helpful link to get you going on step 1, actually asking for help

https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/7332636-how-to-post-request-support-for-vortex/

take a read of that, come back when you're a little calmer, and you'll get help from people to get you where you need to be.
