I posted something about ideas for the next 5 TES games awhile back, though it got zero interest apparently. I'll link it here in case anyone actually wants to read it...

I do NOT think that the next game will be in Summmerset. I think that Bethesda plans to use them as a counterpoint to the Empire for awhile, to add some conflict (physical, political and ideological) to Tamriel without having to constantly resort to things like Daedra or giant-floating-cities. It also makes sense to build the story up to another Great War, rather than just jumping into it half-cocked. Which means Elsweyr and Valenwood are also probably off the table.

I also don't think we will be returning to areas we've been to before. Which means no Cyrodiil (though everything revolves around it) no Skyrim, no Morrowind and probably no Highrock. Hammerfell is possible, since in Daggerfall we only saw a part and a great many things have happened there.

It's also unlikely that we'll be going to another continent. We have never seen Atmora or Akavir, though we know both to be extremely large, maybe even rivaling Tamriel in size. They would involve far too much content for what Bethesda generally produces, and there would be no way they could do them justice...

Which leaves... Blackmarsh. We know that Bethesda has a fancy for doing unique and interesting cultures (in fact, many of the designers apparently complained about how boring Oblivion was to make) and there's nothing more unique in Tamriel than the Argonians and their Hist masters.

I really hope its going to be set on Valenwood, the home of the short and hunter masters of the wild. Imagine all the magical forests and hidden ruin within it. But i think its going to be set on summerset isle, the home of the giant mages. Weather would be set to the boring clear summer(everyday looks the same, its boring).

Game starts out in Hammerfell, Valenwood, or Cyrodil.

Driving quest- Kick out the Dominion, or, well... Domination.

DLCs- Either Elsweyr or Balck Marsh, give them a Dawnguard style doesn't really have anything to do with the main quest story. And then... ON TO THE SUMMERSET ILES!!! To either destroy the Dominion or save them from an invading force.

This, in my mind is what Skyrim set up the next game for. It will likely take place a few hudred years after Skyrim. The same way Oblivion does. And that, to me, seems enough time for both sides to have marshaled strength for another go at it. Who knows maybe, in all unlikelihood, Bethesda could come out with DLCs were each one adds one of the countries of Tamriel that havn't been played i.e. Valenwood, Elsweyr, and Black Marsh, as well as some previous places High Rock, and Hammerfell. In witch you either defend against, or, well, Dominate. Maybe whenever it does come out, who the hell knows when that'll be, advancements in game engines will make it so the game as well as the DLCs will contain more the one country. Who knows, maybe, just MAYBE, the character you make could start in their respective country. Or at least have it so that A, B, and C start in country 1, while X, Y, and Z start in country 2. That's what I think should happen any ways.

EDIT: And better NPC battles, like having the legion fight the way the real Legion would have fought, a phalanx system!

Argonians and Khajiit are the least popular races, so Bethesda will most likely not have a game in Black Marsh or Elsweyr.

The most logical choices would be either Valenwood or Hammerfell

Valenwood - Is part of the Aldmeri Dominion, but not all the Bosmer want to be with the Altmer so you can fight the Thalmor with the Wood Elf resistance and Empire.

Hammerfell - Is still fighting the Thalmor and is not part of the Empire anymore. TES 6 could be the Dominion attacking Hammerfell and the Empire comes to its aid, and Hammerfell rejoins the Empire again.
