Ridarri
I was using Vortex and have been having consistent issues using it. The most extreme so far is me downloading the FNV The Frontier mod using Vortex but even though I have 100+gb of memory available it stopped downloading because I "ran out of disc space" which is 100% false. And to top it off it has eaten 10gb of my hard drive and when I go to the folder it "downloaded" to there are no files there. So effectively I have lost 10gbs of my memory, what can I do to get that back?

Did you leave it as the default, which would be on your C:\users\YOUR NAME\appdata\roaming\vortex folder? Or did you set your download folder to another hard drive that you have a lot of space on? Also, I'm assuming when you say "10+ gb of MEMORY" you are in fact referring to Hard Drive Space, rather than "Memory" Disk Space is not "Memory", disk space is disk space, memory is RAM that's installed in "Sticks" on your Motherboard. I ended up finding it later in the night it's suggested folder was "hidden" so I had to find it through the run command. And thank you for specifying the difference between memory and storage. I can be more clear then if I have issues in the future.

I deleted half of my steam library to get "FNV The Frontier" to download but it says I've run out of space, and everything is downloaded onto the c drive. Because Windows likes to stick everything in Program Files (x86) That's why I showed you how to move your download folder to a larger hard drive.I only use my C:\ drive for my OS, I download and install everything to my D, E, F and I drives.
