KhajiitTorok
I am running Vortex version as of 04/28/2021.I am trying to mod the game Skyrim LE.This week was my first time using Vortex. I tried to download the 2016 version of Moonlight Tales, https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59463I downloaded FNIS and the FNIS Creature Pack, ran both of those, then a popup came up saying something about deleting files. I didn't know what that meant so I foolishly allowed it. I will provide a picture of the popup so that someone can make sense of it.I then decided I didn't want the 2016 version of Moonlight Tales, so I uninstalled it, ran FNIS, kept FNIS Creature Pack, and installed the 2014 version of Moonlight Tales: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35470?tab=descriptionI started a new game and when I had my character transform into a werewolf for the first time, the werewolf T posed. I could make it slide along the ground and jump, that's it.I have no idea what I did wrong. I used this combination of mods before when I had NMM and it never did this.I uninstalled every mod I had, uninstalled and reinstalled Skyrim, installed the Unofficial Patch and Skyrim Unbound (Those were the only mods I had) and I still got the T pose werewolf bug.Any help will be appreciated. Guest deleted34304850
it deleted the files because you uninstalled the mod. what did you expect it to do when you uninstalled the mod? leave everything in place?

Here's your problem: I then decided I didn't want the 2016 version of Moonlight Tales, so I uninstalled it, ran FNIS, kept FNIS Creature Pack, and installed the 2014 version of Moonlight Tales: 1. You uninstalled the 2016 version of Moonlight Tales2. You ran FNIS for the Creature Pack3. You installed the 2014 version of Moonlight Tales 4. You didn't run FNIS again AFTER you installed the 2014 version of Moonlight Tales, and are now wondering why the Werewolf animations don't work. I didn't run FNIS for the 2014 version of Moonlight Tales because it never said it needed FNIS. But just to check and see if it fixed anything, I ran FNIS with the Creature Pack, and 2014 Moonlight Tales and I got the same bug. I uninstalled Moonlight Tales, and all FNIS mods properly (I hope), and just tried with the vanilla werewolf, I got the same result, T pose. You downloaded and install the Werewolf mod that had animations, then uninstalled it, and told Vortex to delete the animation files, then you installed a Werewolf mod with no animations, and now you T-pose. That's your problem, it has nothing to do with Vortex, and has everything to do with you uninstalling animation files, then installing a different mod WITHOUT animation files in it. This is a FNIS problem and/or the Moonlight Tales mod problem, this doesn't have anything to do with a Mod Manager.
Guest deleted34304850
just to emphasize the point that refers to the title of this thread - if you uninstall a mod in vortex or nmm or mo2 or any mod manager really, it will delete the files because that's what you told it to do.the lesson you can learn here is - computers and the programs that they run are brilliant at doing exactly what you tell them to do. there's a very old acronym here GIGO - garbage in, garbage out. This is a mod manager working as designed. Now you need to understand the steps you took to get into this mess and see if you can work your way out of it. A helpful hint here which is going to stop you disappearing down a rabbit hole that is quite the fashion at the moment, - don't go into a blind panic and uninstall skyrim or vortex or format your hard disk or buy a new computer - they won't resolve your issue. if i were you and it was my game - i'd remove the mods you installed for the warewolf animations completely, and then install the mod that does have the animations, do the fnis thing and work with that.
