Hey guys and just wanted to start of by thanking you for taking the time to see if you can help me with my dilemma, and sorry in beforehand for not posting in the technical section but from previous experience posting there usually ends up with getting no response. So here's what's happening, for an example if I were to order a room in any standard Inn it would normally start the script that the innkeeper takes your money and then shows you to your room. But here's the problem with that, he doesn't. He just says the phrase and then nothing happens, nor does he take my coin so I just end up ending/leaving the chat. But 5-15 minutes later he'll take the coin and start walking into the room so in other words there's a huge delay for some reason. Now this isn't only with the innkeeper, no my friend this is with almost everything that requires some sort of script like say an escort quest or any of the sort. However I don't lagg in the game, nope my game runs smooth and I can still swing my sword and still dish out damage and kill people without any delay. It's just when it comes to the scripts like stuff isn't responding or sending data like with the Innkeeper or with quests in general. Now this is driving me insane cause I've re installed my mods (haven't removed a lot of them though cause that would take a hell lot of time so rather just remove a certain one I know is causing the problem ) and made sure they're up to date and what not so I'm completely helpless/clueless in this case. So I'm really hoping and praying that some kind soul has a solution for me in any case all responses are appreciated and welcomed, although please do check my mod list before you comment and try not to redirect me to something else or give me an instruction that I have no clue how to perform. So if there's a certain mod that needs to be deleted that you know is causing the problem then please do tell me, or if there' just is a fix for the problem or something I need to download then please do make a step by step instruction how I can do it.

Thanks a bunch for reading and bless you for trying to help a fella in need.

Here's a collection of all the mods I'm using, also I wasn't able to fit racemenu.esm in the list so just ignore that but it's there. Just press next first image, next image and so on to view the pictures! Copy/Paste the link into a tab to be able to view them http://imgur.com/oCwS7uC,XkrHuRZ,VNvCdT8,nuy00tE,kwpVj4O#0 .

Thanks again and sorry again if I haven't posted in the right section but It's a bit of an emergency cause I don't have that much time to play games cause I work a lot so would be nice to have this solved before Monday hehe.

Best regards Otto, thanks for reading .

*Head-scratch* Well, I may as well offer my 2 cents even if I don't have a definite answer for you... Some input is better than no input, I s'pose.

1. You have around 250+ mods - that's a lot of mods. Do you use BOSS to sort them? Perhaps it takes awhile for your game to sift through all those scripts in order to find the correct one.

2. Have you removed many mods on that save file? Script data stays in that save file forever, even if you uninstall and remove that mod. Try starting a new game - do you still have that delay?

There, 2 cents. I hope you find out what's wrong. I've never had that problem (my Skyrim prefers to immediately CTD :P ) so I'm not too much help.

...

Hmm, wait. You're using Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE), right? I just wanna make sure I've covered everything I can cover, since SKSE is pretty much a necessity.

look Skyrim\Data\Scripts

is it full of stuff? if yes, that's bad

my recommendation: reinstall skyrim and copy over only the mods you CANNOT live without

be wary in future of installing mods that put loads of scripts in Scripts folder

might also simply be Papyrus screwing up due to overload

search google about Papyrus settings for Skyrim.ini :)

It isn't the save since I've tried to load an older save but also create a completely new one and the problem persists :(. Also tried verifying the steam cache and re-installing so must be something with the mods and yeah I suspect the problem is that I have a ton of mods. But is there any specific ones that is wise to uninstall cause they're well known to cause problems? And what's '' BOSS ''? Might be something for me if it sorts them, I have a very very powerful machine so I'm surprised that there's actual problems in my game, but as I said there's no lagg just huge delay. And here's the weird part, I've had about 250 mods before but back then there wasn't a problem. SO there must be some of these mods that are causing a lot of problems, please don't give up on me guys :(.

Best regards Otto.

EDIT. Yes Kura! I am indeed using SKSE and I launch with it each time I want to play, it's the newest version as well.

EDIT again! Just wanted to thank you all for commenting and I hope that you'll keep doing so till I have some sort of solution but yes thank you all very much for bothering to help an old goof like myself :P.

I find the video extremely confusing but that's my own fault cause I really have a hard time paying attention and this is where that shines even more so I don't think that this is something for me now when I delve deeper into it as I don't understand any of it. However I did catch the part that ESM should be above ESP (if I'm not totally out and sailing) and from what I can see there's no conflicts with ESM/ESP. Besides, he says that load order issues cause crashes and nothing else, this is a delay issue. I can literally run the game with no lagg for thousands of hours without problems, it's just that huge delay that keeps messing things up. I suppose DELETING my Data folder is worth a shot but seems a bit risky as well since I don't really know what I'm doing and that's why I got here in the first place.

Help :_/.

Best regards Otto.
