unbanshee
Hi all,I have recently reinstalled Skyrim to try and give modded another go. I had to uninstall all the mods I was using previously due to some issues with my game install switching install location and the dependencies for some of my mods really not like that. I have started with a fresh set up with Vortex being installed in D:\Vortex Mods\skyrim while Skyrim is installed in D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim After setting up some of the basic mods like FNIS and SkyUI I loaded them up with SKSE (launching from D:\steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\skse_loader.exe) and was able to load into the game but it does not seem like any of the mods I have installed loaded with it. I deployed FNIS using the Generate FNIS for users application (install location is D:\Vortex Mods\skyrim\FNIS Behavior 7_6-11811-7-6-1582308039\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISforUsers.exe) and have all the required mods installed but they aren't appearing in the game. Does anyone know what is causing this issue? I think it has something to do with moving my game folders around but I can't find what's missing. unbanshee
Ok so after some more investigation it appears this was an issue with my SKSE install, after downloading SKSE from their site again I was able to get at least SkyUI working so this may be resolved now

HadToRegister
Did you make SKSE PRIMARY so you can start the game using Vortex'?
