Fails to load, Windows missing D3DX9_43

I think installing either enb or the 4gb mod caused a problem. The launcher failed to run getting an error message saying d3dx9_43 was missing from the computer, and to reinstall the program. Not optimistically, I tried a manual replacement into System32 and SysWOW64 which resulted in the launcher working but not the game. Here's hoping the problem is a telltale sign for something easy to fix.

Any advices??

I think I had this problem once and I had to update windows direct x with an older version. try direct x 9.c here http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35&wt.mc_id=mscom_en_us_search_mssuggests_131z4enus22051 restart your computer if necessary. note - having direct x 11 does not solve the problem.

Thanks. That seemed to do the trick. I guess some mods use elements of DX9 not installed by default, which seems silly.
