Exoaria
I've had my Nexus account for about a year, and another one before that which I subsequently lost the password to as I was only interested in using it for a day to experiment with my Oblivion game to see what it would be like to make everyone naked. Ha, mature. Here I am again, this time with different intentions, if you can believe. I've noticed that the modding community here seems to have a common ground, and I can appreciate that. Now, I can appreciate a lot of things (I can appreciate it when a 5th gen Pokemon looks decent enough to use, I can appreciate it when a reboot to a really terrible movie actually starts to make sense, and I can appreciate it when perfume smells nice enough on me without making me come across as gay.)But what I'm talking about here is a different appreciation. You move in unity and you have a basic knowledge of each other, and I've seen some stuff based on friendships formed which I've found absolutely hilarious. Communities like this on the internet are usually small, unheard of and in places where most people can't be bothered looking but at the same time they're so not-desecrated by pointless and fleeting people, but enough of that. I'm here because if you combine what I just said with the fact that I adore video games and creating things to do with them, the end product is quite pleasant. I don't normally have anything to do with communities, and I create games on my own or with a few people. The only other forum I've really associated myself with is the Minecraft Forum, and I still do when I go through my phases of creating servers and making them too hard for casuals to enjoy, but a treasure for people who want a challenge.Hopefully that's what I can do here. Unfortunately the only game that I'll be creating mods for is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which is perhaps one of my most favourite games of all time. I was introduced to Oblivion in 2006 and I almost wet myself, it was revolutionary to me, and that's something I don't think I'll ever experience again. I'll be doing models, quests, places and dungeons, so if anyone is interested in working with me or you want to start modding but haven't gotten around to it I'm more than happy to join you. Anyway, if you've made it this far, I've probably given you a headache but I wanted to post in the n00b section to say hello. I guess that's the best place to start seeing as I want to get to know people and be a part of the modding community. Feel free to send me a private message as well, I'm rather social as of lately. Lanceor
Hey there Exoaria I think you'll fit right in here. Sounds like you've already been creating stuff on your own for a while. It's good to have another experienced mod creator around. A little later, you'll be able to access the Mod Authors forums once your mods have 1000+ downloads. Looking forward to seeing you in there.
Lisnpuppy
Hello and welcome!! Glad to have you here. I enjoyed reading your post! I first came here to get Oblivion mods also. Cats and Rats was my first one. Took me 2 weeks to find my data folder to install it correctly. Seems like you are way ahead of me! I am happy that you find it appealing here. We try very hard to make this a welcoming place and foster goodwill. However as with all places there are rules. If you haven't already pop over and review the Terms of Service ( http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?app=forums&module=extras§ion=boardrules )and Forum Rules ( http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/2881-all-newbies-read-this-before-posting/ ) of the site. If you ever have questions or issues let us know. The community is great in general here and I know you will have a great time of it. Good luck and I look forward to seeing some of your creations.
