When did nexus stop doing skyrim mods for ps4?, i watch mxr mods/plays n am sure he said that where he got his from

AFAIK, Nexus has never supported PS4 mods. Also, mods on PS are subject to Sony's restrictive policies, which means they can only use existing stuff from the game so no custom textures, meshes, music, etc.

Consoles may have their benefits, but the real modding platform is the PC.

You can't get Playstation mods here, if it's like the XBox you would download them from in game.

Nexus hasn't ever made mods available for the PS4. If the game supports mods, there will be an option to go to a site that is authorized by Sony to deliver mods for that particular game.

Example: When I played FO4 on PS4, I would choose the Mods option in the game launcher, and it would take me to bethesda.net to browse and download the mods.

Mods shown in videos like MXR, are available at Bethesda.net when it comes to the console versions of the game. MXR plays on PC. So yeah, here and the "site that shall not be named" are where he gets his mods from.

I DO also want to mention too, that mods available for the ps4 are much more limited in number, and scope versus xbox, and much more so than PC.

Sony has a VERY limiting restriction on mods. They cannot contain anything but vanilla assets (meaning graphics and items that are in the game, ONLY...nothing NEW) I don't remember the exact file size limitation, but there is one. And, at least with Fallout 4 the game was hardcoded with a 150 mod limit, vs the xbox 200 limit, and the PC 255 limit. (Ok, lets not argue about that. PS4 is the only one that relevant to the post we're in)
