Turning human enemies into settlers using commands?

Hi,

I've been looking for a way to turn raiders I've pacified into settlers. I do not own the Nuka World DLC --since I know it deals with raider settlements.

So far, I've only managed to make an enemy join me as a companion. I'd like to be able to do more, and make my own settlement full of gunners or raiders. I'd like to know if this is even possible.

This is what I’ve been doing when I’ve successfully pacified an enemy:

- Open the console

- Type removefromallfactions

- Type setrelationshiprank player 4

- Type setplayerteammate 1

- Type setconsolescopequest followers

- Type forcerefintoalias companion

It makes them one of my companions.

However, when I add the ‘settler commands’:

- addkeyword WorkshopAllowCommand

- addkeyword WorkshopAllowMove

And/or

- setpv bAllowMove true

- setpv bAllowCaravan true

- setpv bCommandable true

Even though the options appear in the workshop mode, assigning an NPC won’t work. If I move them to a settlement and fast-travel to another location, they’ll keep following me.

Do you know if I can make it work?

Thanks

That's an interesting question. I have "recruited" 3 Novatron Initiators from RobCo Battlezone in Nuka World but although they followed me to Nuka World Red Rocket when they saw my settlers they went berzerk and opened fire. I reloaded and shut them down outside Red Rocket and I have used AddToFaction to pacify one of them but I'd like to know if there is a way to get them to stay there as "settlers".

If you use Sharing and Caring companions maybe. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/19999/?

Thanks but I already know how to turn any NPC into a companion. What I've been looking for is the next step: turning a new companion into a settler, like we can do with existent companions in game. Even though the options --in workshop mode-- are unlocked, they won't actually work.

If you be reading this that is not how it works you 1st have to recruit then remove a raider from there faction I'd not removefromallfaction liks Dixie from nukaworld I can remove her from disciples faction by adding this removefromfaction xx 00F438 them 2 xx are the 1st prefix numbers you need to find in your game click on Dixie Dixie and get the 1st 2 numbers then addtofaction 1c21c 1 workshopallowcommand also to have her romantic setav ca_isromantic 2400

Then enter modav ca_affinity 2400 done go kill nuka raiders and watch Dixie join you in a great battle

So basically you want gunners and raiders to farm and hammer nails into walls and weld the scavenger station and do all those animations that settlers do? Is that what you're going after?

Would be easier to just strip Gunners and raiders and put their clothes on settlers.
