SirGalahad
I have the GOTY edition. I just went in with Ada to grab the final Robobrain. At the bunker entry, there is a set of descending stairs. At the base of those stairs, there is a closed metal door that cannot be opened. Across from Ahab, above the row of five robot pods, is another metal door with no obvious way to open. I assume the areas between these metal doors are connected. I've not found any bobbleheads or magazines. I've not found any Fatman. I cannot apply the Sugar Bombs paint job to the armor found inside this bunker. Someone told me I would be able to, but only at this bunker and with that specific suit of armor. I've never seen that paint job available in any station I've used thus far, nor have I ever seen the Abraxo paint scheme as an option. "All you need to do is use the 'Yellow Rid' Power Armor Station to enable the option for these two Paint Job." The "Yellow Rid" armor station? What is that? It is mentioned in a sloppy Gamepur article I found online. So, any help would be appreciated. I thought that perhaps some part of the bunker was inaccessible until some other quest started, but my friend said they had access to everything I do not at the same point in the game I find myself, presently. SirGalahad
There was a staircase at a Rust Devil sentry station I had missed, behind a few of the Assaultron totems and laser tripwires, which lead me to Ivy and the Fatman.
SirGalahad
The same path returned me to the first closed metal door I could not open, but which did open via a terminal along the opposite side of the door. I still have not seen three magazines, or found any secrets allowing the Sugar Bombs or Abraxo paint jobs. Could there be some other magazines my friend found to allow those paint jobs, magazines I simply ave not found? My friend keeps insisting there was a special Assault Armor work station that allows the extra paint jobs, but I am doubtful, though there is the enigmatic Gamepur article I mentioned, above. SirGalahad
The second door I could not open had its own terminal along the opposite side, a terminal I simply overlooked on my way in. This is the Fort Hagan Hanger, and the areas described online refer to the Fort Hagan Command Center, or something along those lines. I may have found everything this site has to offer, in that case. Although... I don't know why my friend accessed those paint schemes while in this location, but I cannot. Maybe I have the wrong type of armor? My friend tells me they painted the same armor I found at the Fort Hagan Hanger, but I found T60 armor. Supposedly, you can get T51 Power Armor at the nearby Fiddler's Green trailer park, but I did not. It may very well be a leveled set of armor, and I was too high in level to get T51. I found T60 armor.
JimmyRJump
You mean the Hagen Satellite Array. For the Sugar Bombs paint job, it only goes on a T-51 power armour. No problem if you have Far Harbor DLC. You'll find a couple of T-51s that aren't leveled (meaning they stay T-51. Plating level does vary with regard to character level) when investigating a certain soda factory and its greater environment. There's also this mod that turns the power armour found at the Concord Museum Of Freedom into a T-51.
SirGalahad
Makes me wonder what's so darned special about the T51 armor! Thanks for the info, JimmyRJump!
JimmyRJump
Makes me wonder what's so darned special about the T51 armor! Thanks for the info, JimmyRJump! No problemo, SirGalahad. According to Fallout lore, the T51 was the epitome of power armor, far superior to the T45 and even the T60. The latter were cheap, run-of-the-mill armors, churned out for the Great War. It's only in FO4 that Bethesda turned things on their head by making the T60 superior to the T51. Me, I don't care too much, to be honest.
