BlazeStryker Posted February 15, 2019 Share Posted February 15, 2019 (edited) So I (like a chump) decided to see what was up with the new CC alert. It was for Free Power Armor red and pink skins. I figured that was fine and loaded up the red. The pink asked for 100 Creation points, but I wrote that off to a goof, a minor stunt, or just asking for 100 because the first one was free. I'm fine with all that. Ever since I downloaded it, though, I am getting CTD outside or even trying to console over from where I was.I can understand needing a restart for some mods, but a freaking paintjob for power armor when none of my crew even have any on? DjinnKiller Posted February 15, 2019 Share Posted February 15, 2019 In principle, in general, and in practise HadToRegister is absolutely 100% correct.Do not fcuk around with mods unless You have a backup-system or some way to roll-back. I have added and removed a metric ton of mods without problem, but always had a backup in case things goes pear shaped, and they do....often. The thing I was worried about was the possibility of the Unofficial patch (whose code weaves throughout the entire program) being glitched. Guest deleted34304850 Posted February 16, 2019 Share Posted February 16, 2019 the unofficial patch mod page clearly states - do not remove the patch mid playthrough or you will break your game.your posts indicate that you did exactly this. this is like complaining that after being told to not put your hand in the fire you did it anyway and burned yourself. follow basic instruction, and obvious and avoidable problems won't happen. I should know, it seems I just forked over the big bucks for a RTX 2080 Ti just to save myself the bother of playing and modding FO4 any more :tongue: So it may not have anything to do with disabling mods or CC contet.
