Checking your browser before accessing nexusmods.com.

Since 3 or 4 days I cant log in with firefox anymore! I get this white page from Cloudflare that says:

"Checking your browser before accessing nexusmods.com.

This process is automatic. Your browser will redirect to your requested content shortly.

Please allow up to 5 seconds…"

And it refreshes and only changes the Ray ID every time it does! With Opera I have no problem at all with the same browser extensions. I would like to keep using firefox so please fix. But if not I will have to use opera I guess so if you also have the same problem just try opera instead of firefox!

Firefox user here. I see the Cloudflare page but have no trouble logging in to Nexus. A suggestion for OP: go to Firefox Options -----> General -----> Network Settings and disable "Enable DNS over HTTPS." Do so at your own risk, however.

We have temporarily increased the security around our login service, so this is likely to happen for the time being.

To offset any loops or weird behaviour you may want to check the options here: https://help.nexusmods.com/article/113-troubleshooting-website-issues

I had the same problem and started messing with the settings and my extensions using the process of elimination to find where the issue was. It was "Privacy Possum". If you have it disable it for the log-in page.

I would suggest adding this to the info in this page - https://help.nexusmods.com/article/113-troubleshooting-website-issues

This! It is "Privacy Possum"! Well I am a little concerned that of all extensions the one defending the privacy is making the problem... is this security page really trustworthy with the data it collects?

I really don't understand the need for all these questionable tinfoil-hat extensions. I mean, I'd trust a site I use regularly rather than some browser extension I've never heard of. It's possible (but unlikely) that it actually does the opposite of what it's meant to do.

Effectively, if you keep adding things to your setup that alter the way browsers/sites are expected to work you'll have to be prepared for things to break. If you want to know more about how we handle your data, please read the Privacy Policy: https://help.nexusmods.com/article/20-privacy-policy

Thanks for the feedback though, I'll get "Privacy Possum" added to the sin bin list on that page. Although I think it's just another example of an "Enhanced Privacy" Add-on.
