I wanted to do something a little special now that I was finally able to install Monster Wars back into my game... so I figured that I could tie in the appearance of all of these new beasts and monsters to the current Mage's Collge quest! Kinda cheesy, I know, but I hope you enjoy it anyway :P

The Nords found something when they built their city of Saarthal...

Buried deep beneath the ground.

A source of unimaginable power.

Overwhelming, dangerous power.

They tried to keep it hidden

But the elves learned of it and coveted it for themselves.

A great battle was fought

and the city of Saarthal destroyed.

But the elves did not win their prize,

And the ancient relic was sealed away;

Lost to time,

Forgotten.

Until now.

This ancient power has been unleashed;

Its magickal energies sweep accross the lands like great wind,

Drawing all manner of beast and monster toward its source.

The Eye of Magnus has opened.

@Selvec - Ha! Just looked up Ricewind: a cowardly wizard who spends most of his time running away. Spot on! :P

Alright folks, new batch of videos is up, up to part 22!
However, I don't want to wear out this thread's welcome, and considering that the last handful of posts have mostly been my updates, I don't want to hog page 1 with self-bumps. What do you guys think? I've created a Facebook page where people who are enjoying the work so far can go to check for updates and of course anyone can always subscribe to my channel to see the newest stuff. I'll just be sad at the thought of losing potential exposure to those who don't frequent the forums regularly - but then, this place isn't my personal soap box.

Most importantly, I just don't want to violate this forum's etiquette.

 

Anyway, I'll see what all of your responses to this is like through the weekend with an update or two from now 'til then. I'd love to keep posting updates here as long as the community doesn't mind, you have all been so helpful and supportive during this process, I'd hate to lose such an uplifting resource :)
