Well good luck, I tried my best and i gave up, i guess ill just try to find some mod pack to install it A mod "pack" isn't the answer. Generic bandaids rarely work well, not everyone has an identical system. The only real issue I find in newer mods is the assumption that most have a relatively up to date system, I check new mods closely because of that. VRAM budget can be off the chart on some, I recently looked at a 2 piece armor set with all 60k texture maps. Didn't even try it. I have no answer for you. I'm a backup fanatic. I back up everything prior to trying even a single mod, and that has saved my game numerous times. I don't even automatically install updates on mods that are working fine for me without checking hard to see if I need them. The only save I ever had that was destroyed happened because I trusted the Steam mod auto update when I was new. I treat updates as a new mod usually and take my usual precautions.

I, however, am not. I've always found it strange how Television, Movies, Literature, Art and even Music have long been platforms for exploring, expressing and confronting real-world social and political ideas... And yet most people seem to think the same has no place in video games. Humans are political creatures, it's how we organize, how we interact, how we self identify. it's integration is the highest expression of any art. And yet, it has no place in gaming? Hah! We NEED more real world political and religious issues in games. We need more analogues for real-world problems. And we can't be afraid to go there, because of moronic consumers who think they can avoid the single most important influence in their lives, or fascist ideologues who can't tolerate the idea of someone differing in opinion. Hilarious. You immediately label anyone who may disagree with your premise as a "moronic consumer" or a "fascist ideologue". GG.

I doubt that your comp would even load SE based upon my experience with it and a lower end machine. 8g Ram though. My old desktop ran LE smoothly with 150 plugins and nearly 300 mods total. SE never loaded at all with 0 mods. Ive since upgraded, but I don't want to deal with unwanted CC updates periodically wrecking SKSE and have 0 plans to switch.

Guess the OP never heard of the Charlie Hebdo deaths and other violence stirred by depictions of Mohammed deemed offensive, which I am sure a follower would be. No need to buy into trouble of that nature, or ask the Nexus to do so. Real world politics and religions need left out of the game so we don't bring in real world passions. I'm not offended by the Jesus follower but my reaction is "ugh, why?". I do not think anyone truly cares enough to foment actual religious rage that I can have statues of Talos sacrilegiously depicted as a scantily clad amazon. Talos isn't real.

Simple for me. I switched from CBBE to UNP because the majority of armor and clothing mods I wanted were UNP at that time. Sorry if I already said this.

I'll not touch on what has been mentioned. I'll talk nuts & bolts. I want a follower independent of both the vanilla follower system and the need to install a follower management mod. Ideally, for me, a companion will have a standalone mount system, simple wardrobe and gear management, a regard, romance and marriage system that is not vanilla. Set home and summon options. A "warp to me" option to deal with them falling too far behind. Storage separate of their own inventory. Options to set combat style and disable spell use. Sandboxing. No shouts on a companion, ever. I do not want to be searching a dungeon for a quest object that "Idiot with Fus Ro Dah" tried to send to the next cell. I would prefer a companion would come with the "lightfoot" perk right out of the tin simply because it is the lowest impact method to cure their pathing stupidity re traps. When the dialog gets stale, as all do, the utility built into a companion is still a huge consideration for me and determines which companion becomes a constant. A companion that either uses my existing bodymesh and textures or has loose folders for their mesh and textures. A simple shoulder length hair to minimize clipping. Things I do not care about, personally. An involved life history backstory...Concise is good, with no orphans, royalty, revenge, faction declarations, etc. I do not care for long, involved initial quests, shorter quests that occur with leveling and favor are preferable. Re Morality.. It can be ok, or it can really limit a player's choices. As example, for me, I would have no issues with a Companion that would leave my service if I became a cannibal, a werewolf, a vampire, a stormcloak, a Thieves Guild member, Dark Brotherhood member, or killed a child. If I made a follower, it would have all those morality issues... and tbh would not be very popular . I enjoyed Arissa's favor system but had to modify my gameplay vs Stormcloak camps and let them start the fight, if I stealthed and cut throats the "murder" favor hit was pretty bad, for example.

It's almost as if Bethesda allowing everyone to enchant and do Alchemy was some sort of plan.

Decide what body you want prior to picking armors, as we still have a divide between UNP types and CBBE in the mods offered. If you want variety auto generated on NPCs you might want to look at Book of UUNP which has a lot of options files and a huge amount of variety. LE and SE. In addition this mod will put your Hold Guards in a variety of distinctive Hold colors and styles. It has an optional ESP that will remove a lot of the more skimpy versions. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/75861?tab=files Divine Elegance Store has a lot of armors for player use, but does not put them as leveled list choices for NPCs. Also for LE and SE. I use UNP bodies and for textures I use Women of Skyrim by zzJay and Unsladd Keizaal by evgirunslaad https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/90982, both of these are not overboard on texture file sizes and look natural. For hair I use KS Hair with Salt and Wind retexture and Azar's Ponytails. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/79735/ For overall face improvement I use Decent Women..it doesn't glamorize and leaves a range of "pretty to kinda homely" without a performance hit. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/14443 For a bit extra I use The Ordinary Women for Named NPCs. It is also not a huge performance hit and treats the Older NPC women very nicely, they show age without being desiccated. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/70547/ Consider using a simple Custom Race mod for your Character. I use Epic Elves by zzJay. It allows me to use both a different bodyslide mesh and different Textures on my Char instead of the ones I've used for NPCs. I can use higher Rez textures on a single char without having them on every NPC. As for the Divine People mods, I won't have a Tarshana mod on my drive after the drama bombs and legal threats she threw around the mod community.

Shrug. I always find caster tears to be refreshing and delicious. Skyrim is one of a very few games that doesn't buff player casters to sillyness to placate the entitled expectations of the wizarding jeedai. Also, Warriors do not "have it easy" when trying to close with annoying, overbuffed mana and regen trash mob NPCs spamming gatling fireballs and ice nonstop while kiting backwards at full speed with autobot navigation and targeting.

Don't know if helps but I use a mod called "Simply Balanced" that allows me to change the enchanting settings and scaling in MCM.

I really appreciate those modders who have not abandoned LE. My current comp runs LE just fine with 142 plugins and a lot of non-esp mods. It won't even load SE. It will take a lot more than a halfhearted, original bugs included "remake" of LE to make me buy a new comp. Plus I really do not want the forced "Creation Club" malware loaded without permission. I don't foresee ever running SE, even with a new comp.

The Sleeping Tree has always had a purplish effect. If you look at it, it has bark textures. From UESP. "The Sleeping Tree grows from a pool in the center of the camp, along with two nirnroot plants. The tree emits a purplish glow". working as intended.

I started Skyrim in 2014 after the last official patch. I played it with no mods, and was constantly frustrated and tabbing out to wiki what the problem was. Solutions? "load an earlier save" "start a new game" were far too common. Also "this bug was fixed in x version of USKP" was also common. I quickly got the message. If you wish a new player to quit the game, running it without USLEEP would be a good way. It's not a mod, it's a much needed patch.

Creation Club updating settled this forever for me. LE remains my choice.
-
Use USLEEP regardless.

Saryn, the dark elf male from Windhelm
TeofaTsavo replied to Yagellonica's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I'm pretty sure that Saryn was also added by the RDO version that added a few NPCs. -
Then what was the purpose of your post? Obvious? The poster is asking whether information received from a well known mod reviewer and player is accurate prior to downloading the mods. No need to go aggro. Given the fact that mods can permanently effect a savegame and can take a while to manifest I also do a lot of research prior to downloading and dropping any mods in my saves.

Help with King of Riverhelm mod (I'm a noob)
TeofaTsavo replied to Fireman420's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
This is why the Mage guild outlawed Necromancers. -
I impose a lot of limits, but perhaps it's silly to consider a game lost by "slaughtering a bunny". Still, I manage to play through the majority of my saves without doing it. Because Bunnies. I've also never done Thieves Guild, Mage, Bard, Dark Brotherhood, Stormcloak and never been a Cannibal, Vamp or werewolf after my first playthrough. Never done a radiant for the companions that required me to be an "honorable" petty thug. Sometimes I find mods that help, other times just have to be creative. I find plenty of other things to do that fit into my "rules". My first playthrough was utterly ruined by Forcegreet junk that could only be addressed by "loading an earlier save".

Looking for elegant dress with high neck/collar
TeofaTsavo replied to Omegacron's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Divine Elegance store by Apachii has a nice selection of dresses. The Iris Von Everic dress fits the description. Good selection of Elven gowns. It's a big mod but absolutely worth it. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/81073 -
i need skyrim to make mods/updates
TeofaTsavo replied to pcmastergamer214's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
You will still have to connect through Steam. Get a more logical hook. -
That's a script heavy order. You may have orphans in your save, which can remain even if you remove mods from that savegame. Also curious why your Unofficial Patch is lower than Apachii hair. It should be immediately following the Update esm, the patch team has pretty strict recommendations for load order.

Both programs have worked flawlessly in my saves for several years in LE.

SE updated, probably the Creation Club update, and so a new version of skse needs to be uploaded by the authors as far as I know unless things have changed. It's a known issue. Ask on the SE forum.
