  2. I was just thinking what an awesome thing... it would be... if you saw some nice terrain but the area was not LARGE enough.. why not SHRINK all the settlers, buildings, building pieces, animals to about setscale = 0.4 ?? Heck you would only need one LILIPUT !!!! cheers, Wayner

  4. hi there... i found a mod i like butr one of the sound files is way too loud... so i extracted the BA2 archive and was able to make a quieter version of the WAV file... but how on earth do i REPACK these BA2 contents into a replacer BA2 file now... im playing Fallout 4 of course thanks a lot wayner
  5. Honestly... we get to see a scary big Syringe in the air but No Doctor ever asks you to BEND OVER... like c'mon.. :smile: (settlers barking "Ouch!" optional) and while your at it? Aren't there any .. ahem, .. Thermometers in FO4? how do they know if you have a fever? cheeeers
  6. forget any assumption for goodness sakes.. that Artillery is the ONLY mechanism in the game that knows WHAT YER POINTING AT? these sexy little Red and Black Cannons would be so easy to animat all they need is: 1) someone to bend over and Light an 18th century FUSE :( .. and then 2) turn away and cover their ears .. and then 3) some Smoke and Flash coming out of the Barrel .. mixed with 4) ground shaking Kaboom Sound File .. mixed with possibly 5) a little optional RECOIL when the cannons fire .. and of course 6) thousands of Weapons mods know what yer pointing at and will blow something up for you... they'd be so cool cheers, Wayner
  7. Floating/Sinking Farmers are also a pain... perhaps in areas where I scrapped terrain with the INSERT key toggled? Perhaps because of using soil/dirt blocks from mods who've lost their presidence in load orders... perhaps for no rythme or reason... Some places farmers submerge into the ground to do their rooting with barely their sholders above ground... someplaces they float... TOO BAD there wasn't a way to ANCHOR the farming animations to the actual CROPS there does not seem to be any STRICT coding for this in the game .. :sad: (I have even spen half an hour using 'modpos' in console upon the illuminated farming animation markers to position them in perfectly logical positions refernced to the crops ~ :( ~ next fast travel they are all back where they WERE before no matter the saving i did or nothing) SORRY I DIGRESSED! regarding Crop Ctd;s and Moving crops and etc... I have noticed strangeness when copying structures with Clipboard Resurrection occasionally if the structure INCLUDES: assignable crops, workbenches or stations... ESPECIALLY if they come from mods. so now i religiously DONT copy such and such anymore...

  9. took a year to notice them for myself i reoutinely check the FILES tabs of authors and view ALL of them for that author at once... this way you can get a real feel for where in the universe each modders head is at... certainly do not mind a sexy pair of shorts... but there is so much garbage and an awful lot of mentalities and morals among them all which i certainly don't share.. in fact there is so MUCH depravity in so many players I may launch a FO4 discussion/ board exclusively for players who SHARE SIMILAR world views and morals this fall I hold the game engine that is smothered underneath all of so much occult crap to be innocent...
  10. not wanting to UN motivate you but I consider the few custom drinks and beverages mods that i ever tried as MISTAKES because all of the drinks were for Player only to use and consume.. when the day comes that i see an NPC or Settler actually consuming or using a beverage or food item then i will take food/recipe/drink mods more seriously.. best of luck though, just my feelings
  11. well the Artillery is YUUGEly unrealistic in FO4 the way it is assigned and manned... not talkning so much about whether the Artillery WORKS or not everyone who uses it has seen that it DOES SO work... the problem is the Completely Phony way tthe Artillery are assigned... some poor guard ends up chained (assigned) to a big gun and night and day he does not budge 365 a year :sad: in FO4 in THIS game engine there is only one way Artillery would be realistic as far as the assignment of guards to it goes and schedulesetc... it needs to be done THIS way a TWO STEP mod... 1) when you are preparing to launch an Artillery bombardment... WE NEED A PRELIM step to MUSTER giards to the Artillery guns... I Suggest DYNAMICALLY AUTO ASSIGNING the guards the are needed for the x number of guns in each settlement ~ randommly selecting them from each pool of guards WHENEVER YOU GIVE THE ARTILLERY ALERT, Radio, Beacon... some sort of PRELIMINARY step which FIRES the script to auto assign randomly guards in each settlement to the Artillery guns.. 2) once all guns in all settlements are assigned (you are not there in those cells so you will not SEE if the randomly selected guards are TELEPORTED to the guns or not :smile: but once all your guns are assigned and guards have been stationed on them... YOU RECEIVE A HUD ALERT or on SCREEN message from this new mod Telling you all artillery is ready to go awaiuting your firing and trgeting orders :smile: at this POINT everything should be handed over to the regular vanilla artillery scripts i guess and there are hundreds of mods for those eeffects and systems DURING STEP ONE above while the guards are being randomly selected in each settlement there should be: blinking lights turned on at thegates to the artillery compoiunds in each settlment audible buzzers or alarm sounds even a siren would do summoning and alerting the artillery crews to incoming WORK this chaining a poor NPC to some peiece of metal 24/7/365 is the biggest booboo Bethesda could have made with the Artillery in this game $100 Canadian reward if someone can make a bug free mod to accomodate all of the above somehow :smile: God Bless, Wayner LAST THOUGHTS!! we will not BE in every settlement to see whether a guard has been randomly chosen and assigned and placed onto the artillery... so for the sake of operation we will never know whether REMOTE settlements have used an ACTUAL guard or not.. or whether the script/mod TRICKED the game into thinking there was a guard assigned to those REMOTE artillery guns :smile:
  12. cannaballism, genetic mutation, raiding, occultism, canceling crosses from all the churches and graveyards, choosing to kill 1 innocent person to spare the war between Far Harbor & Atom.. FO4 in a Nutshell is right there above this line, is that supposed to be 'Holy' content? Girls in shorts can defend a settlement just as well as a clown in Power Armor. CLEANSING as much of Bethesda's 'Cancel Culture' Psyop from the INNOCENT game engine hidden underneath and inside of all of that garbage in every way i possibly can ~ gives ME XP ~ honestly, frankly, and totally above board and upfront to a fault!

I have a pet peve it is Artillery Assignments... the poor buggers stand there 24/7/365 :sad: why did they bother to make 1 texture for this game with something as unrealistic as no shift schedules for artillery? So I am HOPING that there is a way we can Assign Assaultron/Handy/ANY? automatron settlers to the Artillery ... Please somebody say i t is so :smile: wthanks wayner EDITED ** I have since found out from people that Autoatrons can in FACT be assigned to artillery although i have not tried this yet...
  17. Better Way... it is pretty 'anti-neural' to try to navigate plethoras of uncategorised suggestions... lots of modders for ie., might specialize in Settler AI's... THOSE modders are not going to waste Neural Matter perusing disjointed, unconnected though streams, like walking in rubber boots through "sticky" mud of unconnected neurons but if they could (on a monkey level) simply see a category for 'Settler AI's and Etc' they'd be highly more likely to take a look, bookmark that feed, and sign up for notifications of NEW REQUESTS :) we can dream i guess wayner

  20. Hyas.. well FO4 has doctors, eyedoctors, and barbers... but all the settlers are dying from infected TEETH! ANIMATORS please make a small animation of a patient SQUIRMING and WRITHING in a dental chair with the sound effects of a jackhammer drill even? Perhaps a grotesque sucking sound and megnificent POP sound when a tooth gets yanked? Assignable Dentists would be great.. but it will be Better if we could have his honorable W.C.Fields as a Dentist... make sure to watch this master W.C. Fields comedian as the Dentist here: THE DENTIST have fun!
  21. Hi .. just the person i was hoping was looking fer work :smile: does this Maple syrup make your mouth water? Well .. SHUCKS .. the Commonwealth is Littered with Maple trees and if you look at the mid 1800's illustrations of "Sugar Shacks" they look like they are already in or BELONG in the Commonwealth.. as a child I remember the 'White Fathers' in Ottawa.. they had a Maple plantation too and boiled Syrup in giant Vats and then they would throw it out onto fresh clean Snow in the winter and it would instantly become the most delicious Maple Fudge.   23. Hey thanks everyone so far.. I'm feeling a bit like a greenhorne or something... here i am lugging 90+ gigs aand more than 2600+ save files.. ** for some reason though i got into the habit of keeping my ORIGINAL FIRST 2 saves in that saves directory at the bottom of the whords... I guess it is not necessary neither... on an SSD drive... they don't like to be more than about 75% used... so I've notice when i remove a whack of save files... my game speeds up because I ASSUME... that the freed up new data cells have more life in them as they were only ever written ONCE way way back :) like... I go so fast im afraid to run

Using a 250 g SSd only like all 'flash' memory it doesn't like you to use more than about 75% of it's capacity :) or it will lag like all flash .. so I don't believe it is Healthy for my FO4 game to carry this dead weight of 94 gigabytes (5,900+ files) of save files... :( QUESTION?? Can an expert please tell me what is the Optimale number of save files a persone should utilize ? technically this isn't a tecnical issue - :) however pre-emptively.. if somebody didn't do this right thing with these save files they WOULD probably have technical issues?? thanks a lot Wayner
