1. So where is Mods of the Month now? Where are the mod categories? And why doesn't the Nexus icon at the top of the page take me to the home page of the game I'm already on anymore? It's like there's this desire to push all this new stuff without retaining the best of the things that already worked before.
2. ah, finally the story behind why 3.0.19 will remain forever a number burned into my mod-related memory. :) Great interview of a Mod-Titan to whom we owe an immeasurable amount of thanks.
3. Why is there some kind of darkening effect on the bottom part of the picture that represents a mod ? Is this some kind of "artistic" choice or something? It makes it very difficult to see the picture and increases the difficulty of using the site (along with many other choices made). I keep trying to use the new layout but it turns me away from coming here (and I've said that before, and I keep coming back to try but the site always turns me away now, and that's sad).
4. In response to post #56151196. #56157651 is also a reply to the same post. >To be honest, since the new site-design is on, i find myself only rarely looking into the nexus any more. The joy is gone. This. I used to check the site at least once a day. Now maybe it's once a week. Maybe.
5. So I've been trying to use the new layout, and the first page is not helpful at all for modding my game. Besides the fact that it comes across as just a jumble of pictures without descriptions, the easy to see and understand functionality of the old site is gone. The new hot files/hot mods section on top is worthless, as the white writing on the top two files is minuscule and what...10/15 words long? Even if it was legible, what can you tell me about a mod in so few words. Why would I want to download it? And it's even worse for the other four or so hot files below it as they don't even have a description, the writing again is too small this time to even read the entire mod's name, plus hovering over the file doesn't give you the mod in a bigger window like the old site had. Once you get past that initial jumble, you're hit with lots of images, more mods, explore all mods, latest mods and so on and so forth...it's overwhelming, and in all of that there isn't even the Mods of the Month, which should be an even bigger deal than even the hot files. They should be the first and immediate mods that everybody needs to know about when they stop back in and they're nowhere to be found on the front page....instead I see categories for hot mods, more mods, popular mods, trending mods (*which are what?...popular but not as popular as the popular mods? kinda redundant, it seems to me), and random mods which is kinda cool actually if it wasn't for the lack of the Mods of the Month, which should be the star on top of the tree. I shouldn't have to actually open a new window to have a good idea what a mod is or does, and especially not to see what its name is. As abrupt as it might be to say it this way, the new layout makes me not want to use the site as it actually impedes me modding my game.
6. Why does everything have to look like it's built for a smart phone? Everything is flat and blends in with everything else. It's a visual jumble of un-definition. And what's the point, really? The old front page layout had hot files which gave us actual mod information, a large picture for each mod, news, and the mods of the month on the same page and easy to find while the new layout gives us none of this.
7. I love these things! I am the Trapper! Ha, so true, so true.....(well, I don't trap any animals, but the spirit of the thing is there, witnessed again by the fact that I've modded Skyrim to be basically my outdoors-hunting-camping sim!

8. In response to post #7619262. #7623788, #7626226, #7626540 are all replies on the same post. For all you guys afraid of the new Skyrim update, there's a new beta build of SKSE out on the skse.silverlock.org for the latest Skyrim update vers. 1.9.32.
9. I've used VLC for years. It's a very solid media player that works out-of-the-box better than anything else in my opinion, and I've used many. It's given me only a few problems now and then that could be resolved with a little work. Recently, I've switched to using MPC-HC, tweaked to the max (well, the max that I know of), and it gives a superior picture, but you have to work for it (installing extra codecs, etc).
10. @SoulmasterII, Mod authors are supposed to not ask for money/donations, not endorsements.
11. @weijiesen Yes, I've been wanting something like this to happen. It's been about a couple of years now that there's been a current in the back of my mind about modders getting together to create their own game and not "simply" mod one, and as time kept going on I kept wondering why it wasn't happening...but I guess it was happening, after all! I'm very happy for you guys, and very happy myself because your group has some of my favorite mod authors! :)
12. Wow, a team of modders from the Nexus together to make their own game? This is very exciting! I am certainly going to look into this! :)
13. http://www.nodiatis.com/pub/15.jpg Hmm, yes, well, we all have our battles as we're standing in line at McDonalds, but I think I keep myself relatively under control, all things considered.
14. Yep, me, too. The thing I really love about the Walking Dead is the depth they can go into due to the sheer amount of time they have to work with as compared to, say, a zombie movie. It allows them to go past the zombies and get to the meat. http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/woot.gif ^gnomgnom^
15. You, my friend, are a genius. http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/thumbsup.gif I have software that blocks those things, too, and it was exactly that. SkyrimNexus has gotten listed! Man, I don't know how long it would have taken me to figure that out myself. I turned it off and Skyrim Nexus loads up fine. Now, I just have to fine-tune it to allow the Nexus-related stuff through. Thanks, man. *bro-fist*
