  1. Ok... so yeah, this response is really late. Sorry. Lots of things happened in the last year. But any who... I AM having fun! But I dunno. Not looking too good for the Empire in Skyrim is it? lol. I am sure they will be in TES VI, but will they be a total broken mess? Perhaps even completely fallen? OR... will they have mustered themselves together, recruited more people, and rise to be great once again? Hmm? I doubt they will ever be completely destroyed though. Too important to the series I believe. Thoughts?
  2. Pizza is surely one of the greatest creations on the planet. Tombstone Supreme pizza for me. 90 here yesterday. Ugh. I don't mind warm weather, but that's a bit too toasty for me. Thunderstorms probable this evening.
  3. Yes, try starting a new game if you haven't done so. My mod "Female Guards" for Oblivion had issues sometimes when placed into an existing game. The females would have male voices. For many, starting a new game was the only way to fix the glitch.
  4. Do you have any other mods that alter the environment? If so, check load order. Something could be overriding or clashing in some way.
  5. Um... I think it was the new Halloween flick. Pretty good, and very cool to see Jamie Lee. That woman is such a great actress.
  6. In TES 3 & 4, I always played an Imperial and was loyal to the Empire, but then in V, it made me sick to my stomach when the Imperials tried to cut my head off. No trial, no nothing. Just put your head on the block, prisoner! I mean, jeez, all your character was doing was crossing the boarder, right? Maybe you were just visiting a friend or seeing the sights. So, I became a Nord player and joined the Stormcloaks to get revenge on the Empire. However, since I use to be such a loyalist, I am doing another run through with an Imperial female and siding with the Empire. Wish me luck. lol. I will probably need it.
  7. Right... and many modders don't actually leave, but (like me) take breaks. Emma once told me you either need to mod or play. You can do both but it's hard. At least for me it is. Then, try and juggle life atop that. There's only so many hours in a day. And they go by WAY too fast.
  8. Jeir surely is correct on many of those things. I'm burned out, and have a lot going on in my life. I disappeared several times. Am back, but for how long, I know not. As for modding, I may do something for Skyrim if I find some extra time. Truth is, I found that I like playing much more than modding.
  9. Thanks for the info, TheGreatFalro. I thought it was something along those lines. I need to get back to modding so I can whip up something to actually kill her and those wanna be morons. Sounds like fun doesn't it? And to Pagafyr… yes, I know about that mod. Been meaning to try it, but I found it best to just ignore her. It's been over a month in game time since I left her in the basement. She's probably still there. Hee hee. All I know, is Ongar is renting beds now. He sent some thugs after me to after I stole "The Great War" from the bedroom. Heh. Any ways... thanks people. Crypts
  10. Hey everyone, We all know how much of a pain Delphine is. She even has the nerve to threaten you. One game I was playing, I decided to just pound the living tar out of her. I was planning on starting a new character any ways, so I thought, why not. If not for being essential, she would have been dead like 10 times over. She is weak and nothing but a loud mouth wanna be warrior. I've made it a habit now to totally ignore her. As soon as she hands me the horn, I follow her into the other room, wait for her to go through the hideaway door, then I close it and leave. lol. I mean, I play a female Nord, and am a huge supporter of the Stormcloaks, so I'd never join the Blades. Only once, and that was with an Imperial. Any who, my question is... how did she become the leader of the Blades any how? I thought such a thing needed to be sanctioned by the Emperor himself. Or am I missing something? Did she just wake up one morning, and said, "I guess I'm the new leader of the Blades?" If anyone has any info on how the Blades with Delphine was formed, I'd love to know. And thank you. Crypts
  11. Actually, there are a few instances where a female LW is referred to as a male. One is from Bryan Wilks of Greyditch when you are speaking to him. One of his lines he will say, "Please, mister..." I can't recall the others offhand, but when I do, I'll list them. Thanks for the post. COTD
  12. Despite the fact that the Lone Wanderer is named "Albert" in Fallout 3 previews, and is shown in promotional images as being a Caucasian male with brown hair, there has never been any mention or statement (not even in Fallout New Vegas) that this hero is a male, thank God. I for one do like playing a female character in Fallout 3. Bethesda has a habit of revealing their game heroes race/gender, and they really need to stop doing this. Why? For one, I think it's a bit racist, and secondly, the hero of an RPG is suppose to be player choice. Setting a hero's gender and even their race in stone is taking away the freedom of the game, not to mention there's not much replay value there. Hence Morrowind; the hero is a Male Dunmer. When I found that out, it pretty much ruined the game for me. Then I find out that the heroes of the first two Fallout games are male! Knock it off Bethesda! I swear, if the Lone Wanderer is ever revealed as a male by canon, I will never play another Bethesda title as long as I live. Cheers! COTD
  13. No one knows but Bethesda. However, Black Marsh would be very interesting, as so would Valenwood.
  14. I agree with you. As you said, there is no proof of a murder. I will need to refine that a bit, thanks.
  15. You certainly make some valid points indeed, and I agree totally that the Empire has had more than enough time to regroup. Not sure what to think on that. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what Bethesda decides to do with them. It will probably be something unexpected. On your comment with Oblivion and the Count and Countess of Leyawiin, I remember that. I was like, wtf? That was very disturbing. Poor Argonians. And the Khajiit in Skyrim, I feel very bad for. They don't deserve to be treated that way. They are such a loveable people, to me any way. I help them in any way I can.
  16. Well, the Empire hates the Thalmor as well. Right now, I'm playing an Imperial female character and she kills the Thalmor whenever she can. She waits for them to accuse her of heresy, then it is so on! lol. The Thalmor currently have a death warrant out for her too. Hmm... I wonder why? lol Well, I did help Saadia with her ruse against the Redguards. The Thalmor didn't like that. Hehe.
  17. WARNING: CONTAINS SPOILERS! I know this is in the spoiler section, but I wanted to warn any how. So, do not read if you haven't played the game or dislike spoilers. I know this has been debated through the nose, but I wanted to add my two cents. I'm also sure I will catch some heat from the Stormcloak supporters out there, and that's ok. Alright, here it goes... Honestly, I have always been a loyal supporter of the Empire in all the TES games, and I favor playing Imperials. The whole roman thing I guess. I must say however, that when I first started playing Skyrim, I had a very hard time deciding who to support, the Empire (Imperial Legion) or the Rebels (Stormcloaks). I must have started a half a dozen games before I finally decided that the Empire is the best choice to go with. I even went as far as to write and post on Emma's Forums "Why I Think The Stormcloaks Are Right," and I regret ever posting that, and for many reasons. First of all, it was done prematurely, before I actually got to see both sides of the coin. The biggest reason was the Empire trying to have me executed. This really made me mad, bitter, and I wanted revenge. However, after observing both sides of that coin and reading many books in the game, I couldn't believe what was hearing and seeing, especially what I read in the book about the Great War. What also really got me was during the main quest. You are sent to the Thalmor Embassy, and you find some dirt on Ulfric Stormcloak, the wanna-be High King of Skyrim, revealing that the Thalmor see him as an asset. But is he a spy? Some say yes, some say no. In any case, I nearly fell off my chair when I discovered that. I will now explain in more detail why I think the Empire is the way to go. Reason 1 So, ok... The Empire tries to chop your head off in the beginning, however, you "DO" survive and Hadvar tells you it was all a mistake, and that you were not suppose to be on that carriage with the Stormcloak traitors. Hmm, perhaps it was Ulfric's plan to have you executed? Maybe he knew something and saw you as a threat. Reason 2 The Stormcloaks are nothing more than rebel trash. They are also extremely racist. The first time you enter Windhelm, you see some Stormcloaks threatening a Dark Elf, and for what? Because the Dunmer do not support the rebellion and she's an elf. The Stormcloaks believe that Skyrim should be a Nord Nation PERIOD! No other race is allowed. Bad bad bad. Sure, there are some Empire supporters that do something similar to an old lady in Whiterun, but they don't seem to be as racist as the Stormcloaks. Reason 3 The rebels would like you to believe that they hate the Thalmor, but then why was that note found in the Thalmor Embassy about Ulfric? Well, it's quite simple. The Thalmor want the Stormcloaks to rebel against the Empire because they know the legion is weak at this point and the upstart elves can use this to their advantage and take over ALL of Tamriel. Reason 4 The peace treaty between the Empire and the Thalmor is nothing more than a ruse on the Empire's part. They are biding their time until they get strong enough to once again attack the Thalmor and put them in their place once and for all. During the main quest, Legate Rikki and General Tullius make comments about this. In addition, if you follow Hadvar to Riverwood, his uncle will tell you that very few abide by the banning of Talos worship. Again, the whole treaty is a ruse and the Thalmor are too stupid to see it. Or maybe they do, and that's why they support the Stormcloak Rebellion, to weaken the Empire even more. Reason 5 Some may try to make you believe that Ulfric challenged the High King to a duel and the King lost, but that's not true. Ulfric used "The Way Of The Voice" to murder the High King of Skyrim. Notice at the beginning of the game that Ulfric is gagged so he can't SHOUT. EDIT: As SomethingCrazy pointed out, my reason 5 seems a little unfair. There is no proof that the High King was murdered. Reason 6 Apparently, you are a foreigner in the game, not a native of Skyrim. It is actually believed that your character is from Cyrodiil. Hadvar says: "You haven't heard of the civil war in Skyrim? I guess down in Cyrodiil people have other things to worry about." Perhaps your character is an Imperial. What better reason to join the legion and save Skyrim from the Stormcloaks. Or, you could have been born in Bruma and be a Nord. At any rate, your character DID come from Cyrodiil, but the race of the Dragonborn is NOT revealed in TES lore, meaning you can be any race you wish. Reason 7 Lastly, even if the rebels DID defeat the legion, it will never last. The Empire will strike back eventually (Star Wars lol), just like they plan to do with the Thalmor. The Empire has always been a part of the TES games, and I believe it always will be. It will NEVER die. LONG LIVE THE EMPIRE!
  18. Never had mine removed. They wanted to yank 'em of course, but I said why fix somethin' that isn't broke. Haven't caused me any problems, and this was years ago when they cut through.
  19. Damn the cancer! I just lost an uncle a few months back to it, and nearly every death in my family has been from the big "C." Let's hope the doctors are wrong or if it is for sure cancer, they can get to it in time as stated. But hey.... My prayers and blessings go out to you, dear friend. May God watch over you and make you well. God Bless!
  20. Come and check out my new forum. It's VERY new so not much there yet, but it's going to grow as time moves forward. This forum will be covering the entire TES series. Check it out and join if you like. The main purpose of the forum will be to kick back and chit-chat, modding, screenies, but most of all, to have FUN! :) CryptsOfTheDead's Elder Scrolls Forum

  24. Hi...

Thanks again for taking the time for the conflict report ... most people wouldn't have even bothered. I just posted the conflict into the comments section for the mod since I'm quite busy with other projects. Are you a modder as well? I try and do both... it's HARD! lol

    Cheers!
