You cannot upload the mod if it contains assets ported from another game unless like in some cases the maker give permission like the stalker assets ( check the forum for full details on that. There is a little thing called privacy and to be bluntly honest, its no ones business what my steam handle is but who I choose. For new Vegas some annoying steam related issues and those relating to other steam required games as well probably. The fact that you cant install from the disk without updating. Quite often it will still try to download the entire lot with the disk version. Auto update didn't used to remember don't update setting. You cannot install outside of steam directory or dual install like Oblivion for test installs/for total conversions. A lack of control basically, but there are far worst things then Steam tbh, although sick and tired of companies having steam versions of there games, yet still having a load of DRM added as well. What is the point?. Steam is one of the less annoying DRM in history though(hello Sony rootkit/Ubisoft always stay connected rubbish).

Try creating a new INI file. If that fails and its doing it with just NV.esm active you may have to verify the game cash/reinstall which obviously would mean you would be forced to update :sad:

You will probably have to purchase the English version, since the English voice files are more then likely not included in every localisation and it is illegal to distribute the files. Also translation would more then likely have to be done with the Russian copy so ppl wont do that when an English version exists. Although if you cannot speak Russian, why did you buy the Russian version? presume you are in Russia.

Are you sure you installed OBSE into the correct folder? it goes into the root oblivion folder that contains the oblivion.exe NOT data folder.

If your disk is not working, you have to purchase a new one or buy from steam ect (do not get d2d version) The game will not patch without the correct exe and since you have switched it for a no cd one, it cannot find the correct version (know site does not support cracks ect but should be ok to tell you this much).

The guns will work in game, but unless they have a patch/say there for WMK, you will not be able to add the mods to the weapon, because WMK needs a separate weapon mesh with each attachment made.
