  1. @PETNOS The Javelins work similarly to the bow's in skyrim. When you have the "throw javelins" weapon equipped you simply hold down the mouse to unsheathe a javelin, you can then aim with the mouse and when you are ready to throw it you let go. Also there is no loss of movement at any stage during the process :) However the animations look a little weird if you are walking so It looks much better when you are stationary. Also NPC's can use the Javelins just as well (if not better) as the player can :) Although I have seen some very rare cases where the NPC aims up and down repetitively and then throws it straight up :P And of course they are able to use the spear animations too :) I actually have thought about having 2 handed spears (or polearms) I just haven't implemented them yet. @Urwy Correct :) When you have a sword equipped you will use the sword animations, when you have a spear equipped you will use the spear animations. @TheGreenLion I would also like to have some 'overhead' thrusts too :) I have them on my to do list Actualy I should probably note that due to technical limitations, I have only been able to replace the power attack animations. However to compensate for this, NPC's wielding spears will now use power attacks much more frequently. Also, power attacks with spears will cost quite a bit less stamina and give a smaller boost to damage. I could also increase the amount of stagger caused by power attacks but I'll go through all this later when I'm balancing the gameplay.

  4. Oh wow, I can't wait for this. I normally just use the default CK papyrus editor, which can be a real pain sometimes :P

  6. Well of course your going to crash with player.setav speedmult 2000 :P. Being able to move so fast means a lot of data has to be loaded and then unloaded from memory. If the game can't keep up you will end up reaching the memory limit and crashing. If the problem only occurs with a speedmult of 2000, I wouldn't worry about it. Just play the game normally :P
  7. i do not have the Textures.bsa file D: Edit: And i'm trying to uninstall the tropical skyrim mod You must have a textures.bsa file or the game wouldn't run :P (at least not in any playable way) are you looking in C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data? Also did you backup your textures and meshes folder like I said to in the instructions for tropical skyrim?
  8. Please don't bump your own threads every few hours. You need to be patient, If anyone can help you then they will reply :smile: Also try undoing any recent changes you made to the game, that might help you find what caused the problem.
  9. Yes, It is indeed possible, individual effects can be toggled on and off within the enbseries.ini file
  10. Yes this is real :P And it has allowed me to work on tropical skyrim again since it completely removed the crashes :D
  11. I would stick with positive values if I was you, Also just try something like 150. setting it to 400 would make you run at 4 times the normal speed :P

  13. Are you actualy using negative values? or did you just replace the 'to' with '-' for this post. Because player.setav speedmult -500 should result in a syntax error, and you said that the changes are confirmed when you used getav, so either you just replaced 'to' with '-' for this post, or apparently it can be replaced in the command,
  14. Sometimes for me any changes to speedmult won't apply until I start sprinting. Have you tried that? :)

  16. Are you sure you are in the correct location? Also, you have to read the correct scroll as I believe only one of them will work. (I forgot which one ) you need to read Elder Scroll (Blood)
  17. Wait, what if the name of the province and the name of the game are different. For example, Arena was set in the whole of tamriel, Oblivion was mostly set in Cyrodiil and daggerfall was set in high rock and hammerfell :P
  18. I created a large world space for oblivion which unfortunately was never released :( However I learnt a few lessons that I might be able to pass on :). 1. Make lots of backups and then backup your backups, these sorts of mods can become corrupted or broken very easily, and I can guarantee that you will end up having to fall back to one of your backups at least once :\ 2. Have some practice with the region generator before you use it for your mod (It can take a lot of practice to perfect it) 3. Don't bite of more than you can chew, When I started my Total conversion mod I was so convinced that I would be able to finish it.... I soon found out that real life gets in the way quite a lot :P. So make sure you split the project up into manageable pieces :) And get some sort of pre-alpha release out as soon as you can :). Once you get the community involved, it really sets the ball rolling.   19. Wow, that is a sweet looking model you have there :) If you manage to finish this then I'm sure quite a lot of people would be very eager to download it :D (I know I would ;) )
  20. It's a shame when people lie about ownership of 3D assets. However I'm sure your friend would still be allowed to continue his project if he were to obtain permission from the real owners of the models :)
  21. Also sometimes re-textures are the same resolution as the vanilla textures :) (with increased and sharper detail) Assuming they use the same compression as the vanilla textures, they should not have any negative effect on your game :)

When I'm having issues with my game I find it best to disable mods until the problem goes away :) Although this only works if the bug is a result of a single mod and not a conflict between multiple mods. I would suggest you make some sort of log of your activities during this process so you can revert your changes if necessary :) Good luck

  24. Indeed, a game time modifier higher that 3 can completely screw up the physics system. :P
