  1. Historically with an ENB, you need to make sure that the NVIDIA control panel has an attached config for the game in question, and doesn't fall back on the default global settings. Going into your controls and making sure it's recognizing your SSE exe is essential, and from there, it's always been recommended to adjust everything to fall back onto the program's settings, and not try to override any potential ENB reliant settings that are handled by the binaries themselves. This all said however... I know we're having some minor issues getting certain ENB functionality up to full speed in light of certain limitations with the current SSE binaries. This will all more or less be ironed out in a matter of months as newer and improved binaries are released, and the SSE framework is more aptly able to handle said functions. Getting a working SKSE64 is a good start. At this point, make sure anything that is handled by the ENB is set to fall back on the program settings, and not the NVIDIA control panel, as for the the other control panel settings, I defer to others to chime in with those answers.
  2. Hate to break it to you bud, but the rumors are true.. some of us don't have a crappy performance SE. Not here to try and convince you that your opinion is invalid however, I'm just here to try and explain that just because you hear x number of people complaining, that doesn't mean there aren't xx or xxxx number of people who don't have any complaints. It's often the case that the loudest members of any community are often the ones who have something to complain about. I'll use the average ENB post page as an example... 90% of it is just people complaining that the ENB broke their game, or that something in general is wrong. WHat they don't point out is that out of those 50 people who couldn't get it working, there were still 500,000 people who did. Anyhow, glad you're enjoying LE, it's still a great game, and after 5+ years to garnish it with stability. After 1 month into release, SE is also very solid.. it just needs a bit more time to get it's modding capabilities up to speed, i.e SKSE64. Cheers
  3. Sorry bud, I couldn't resist. The short answer however is that CK is still your best resource for this. There simply isn't any other resource for handling ESP's at this time. There are third party means of handling textures, but the ESP is still dependent on CK.
  4. Also to be sure, change the ini files to "read only" after you modify them to make certain the bgame or third party mod isn't changing them back without your concent or knowledge.
  5. which mod manager? NMM or MO? Both are popular mod managers. Both of which place copies of your ini files in a separate place other than the main game folders.
  6. Could be any number of things causing this... so before we can deduce why, we first need to understand more about what and how you're doing certain things: 1) What mod manager are you using? 2) Are you using an ENB? 3) Are you using any third party GPU software such as NVIDIA GeForce Experience, etc? 4) Which file did you make the above edit to from your post? Let's start with these....
  7. I almost didnt reply becuase I thought your change of font size was sort of annoying, and noobish. But then I said to myself, this dude IS a noob, and maybe he just needs some help, so here you go, took me 5 seconds to search the nexus and I found the mod you're looking for. 8. Yeah I got the "4gb" 970 as well, which really only had 3.5, which is why there was a class action lawsuit. I was (or will be awarded) a few bucks towards restitution.

  11. In response to post #43683235. #43690795 is also a reply to the same post. Yeah dude, MO isn't really going to die, it's just gooing to improve for the SSE release under a new and improved name, getting paid this time to build as opposed too just doing it for fun and donations. Relax dude, good things are coming.
  12. In response to post #43651370. #43651500, #43651570 are all replies on the same post. You're missing the point. Nexus Mod Manager, WAS broken, it just wasn't any good for power users like us who use MO. This means that the new MO (NMO) now becomes the official branded Nexus software, built by the guy who gave us MO. He isn;t just going to say screw MO function and throw it out the window, it will be better, because now he's actually being paid to build this new manager. How could you possibly ever be sad about this. MO will come back with a new name, and even more feature rich than ever before. This is a GOOD thing.
  13. In response to post #43648900. It will replace the current Nexus Mod Manager. NMM and MO will essentially be dead products with no more further support. The new official mod manager for the Nexus will be the new NMO, or whatever they decide to call it. Most likely NMO though, because it's the most intuitive. The download link at the top of this website will change to NMO as soon as it's built, I assure you. No third party download.
  14. In response to post #43651370. No, MO is dead. All focus will be on NMO. And I believe just about every single MO user on Earth agrees with you that nobody wants to compromise for less featres, and less flexibility/control. I highly suspect that this will be taken into account because who else better to give us the MO features we want to keep, than the guy who gave us the features to begin with. In the large scope, this is a plus for everyone.
  15. Do we have a rough idea or roadmap for release as of yet? I'm wondering if I should just keep rocking my current MO or if I should wait for the NMO? If I only have to wait a month or so, I'll wait, but if its 6+ months, I'll stick to regular MO. Thanks!
  16. In response to post #43342675. #43344250, #43364545 are all replies on the same post. Meh, I'm a die-hard LUA fan. It's the new gold-standard.
  17. Will it be a more robust 64 bit engine that will accommodate power users and dynamic patchers?
  18. I've been rocking the i7 4790k and the EVGA GTX 970 FTW for a long while now, never had any issues with them. They're a great combo with a nice power supply. Absolutely zero complaints with power-modding. Admittedly though, I've had my eye on the EVGA GTX 1080 FTW for a bit now, and that will likely be my next upgrade once the prices drop for Thanksgiving/Christmas.
  19. Minor out of date info on my guide, namely the version numbers of certain stuff, etc. Other than that, it's still valid and truly is a bullet/fool proof method for the novice modders to troubleshoot why their RV installation isn't working. Maybe I'll update further in the future.
  20. You don't read very well, do you? PM me.
  21. Ahem. I have Wyrmstooth v1.16 PM me.
