  5. iirc NPCs can only have ONE (magic) effect shader on them at any given time. example: ghosts(blue NPC thingys) are actually normal NPCs that have a "ghost" effect shader on them. If you hit them with fire they look like normal NPCs while the fire effect is on them. Thats a limitation of the game engine. So you can only apply one effect. Whitch one depends on the magnitude i think ( the biger magnitude getc applied). You coul merge 2 shaders into on and use that one but thats somewhat advanced stuff. In your case i guess tha soultrap effect prevents the fire effect from showing up. Im not sure if there is an extra effect for "fiery souldtrap" or what... never looked at effect shaders. try shawping them around, remove the soultrap shader or search fro a fiery soultrap effect. hope that helps

  8. In the end what I did was I made a new effect that was a copy except didn't trigger the script, and then set all alcohol items to use that. A bit hacky, but it works. I'm new to these forums: is there a way to mark my post as resolved? if it works^^ its never resolved... just forgotten (no)
  9. dont delete the script. it will probably just crash your game/create tons of errors in the logs. Is the drunk effect a magic effect? if so you can add a property like "isPlayer == 0" that hsoud make it so the effect cant be active on the player... i dont really wanna install requiem just to check that. You can add properties to most effect types. So if possible do that and see if it works edit: 370MB? not downloading that sorry

  11. can be a "problem" of your settings as well. You can reduce the quality on different settings and install some grahic mods. On some systems the game looks better and runns smother... its a lot of fiddeling i fear http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/guides/the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-tweak-guide#1 this guide is by nvidia but it doesnt really aplly to nvidia cards only... the ini tweaks at the end are most intresting. I reduce the dencity of grass on my system and you dont even notice it (i think) and it enhances performance quite a bit

RLO does drop my fpy by like 1 or 2... and it does look almost better as most ENB presets i tried^^

  17. oh ah. Can you relate cannibals (the Namira Cult) to the vampires? cannibalism and namira are so cool ingame and yet they have so little story. You actually are even "infected" with vampirism in the vanilla game if you cannibalize a few times bit dont make cannibals just vampires (unless there is a good story around it). I like them as a standalone "faction"

  19. mods require DLCs if they use assets (textures, models and so on) that are part of the DLC or have quests in an area that is part of the DLC or were changed by the DLC. There can be many reasons why you would need a DLC. If the mod really needs a DLC you wont be able to use it properly without the DLC (either you cant play a quest or textures are missing, NPCs are stuck in positions they are not supposed in... or your game just crashes). next: you are not "forced"! the mod author does not force you to install his mod and therefore buy both DLCs! Its his damn right to not provide a version that doesnt require DLCs If you can tell us what mod you are talking about i can have a look at it and maybe ther is a another mod that does almost the same but doesnt require DLCs? If you really want the Mod and it really requires both DLCs then your only way is to buy them.
  20. - Fixed a bug that deactivated autotoggle after a loadingscreen. Lanterns can now be purchased from the following general goods stores: Markarth - Arnleif and Sons Trading Company Riften - Pawned Prawn Solitude - Bits and Pieces Whiterun - Belethor's General Goods Windhelm - Sadri's Used Wares Or crafted for 1 iron ingot and 2 leather strips at any forge these damn bugs kill me -.- ill release beta in a few hours since im 99% sure i fixed every thing now.
  21. Ok. MCM Menu is done. For now it only has a feature to set autotoggle on/off and you can set the hour of day for the autotoggle. If you guys hav an idea what ther option (different lantern positions are not coming with beta sorry) are needed pleas tell me.
  22. since nobody else has these problems with NExus mods, its probably your PC. try another internet browser (chrome, firefox, switch these around) maybe this will help? i dont know anything else. If you have this problem with other downloads too then you should better ask in some kind of PC forum i guess

  24. oh yeah i just head a similar problem with my Horselaterns. I fixed it by adding a property to the magiceffect that had the light as an associated item. I think it happen when the magiceffect gets removed from the actor while the games ha "wrong" position data of them (the actor dies or gets teleported or so)? i dont f-ing know^^ my horses got teleported a ittle back to where the light did stay. For candlelight i would maybe add a "subject is not dead" property or so dunno if it helps
