Still looking for people!

The civil war is one of the most bugged quest line so there is also a good chance that your problem is with the vanilla game, I do not even do it anymore because it rarely works for me, even without mods.

I am looking for a dungeon builder and some voice actors/actress for my Castle Blackthrone mod. More information about it can be found here. I need voice actors with good mic and good voices :smile:. have around 10-12 roles that need to be filled,some roles have 1 lines and some have up to 25, here is what I need and a few lines for each for samples: Abigael,Blacksmith's wife,Female orc -------------------------------------------- -No my lady, my name is Abigael, I am the wife of your new blacksmith Adjorn, if you need anything forged, he can take care of that for you. -Good afternoon my lord. As a woman, I would like to see more female protagonist but they would need to be well made for me to really want them there ( I usually play male characters, even when I have a choice.) I wouldn't want to play a female who is half naked, not because it's *sexist* but because when I would look at her, I wouldn't feel like she is badass like she should be. She would need a shape that fit with what she does, having an anorexic punch big guys hard in the face would make no sense to me and would drive me away from the game.Good voice acting would also be important and she would need to fit with the story,if the story wouldn't fit for a woman, then I wouldn't necessarily want a woman in the role. This is just an opinion but if developers could find a middle ground that would appeal to both men and women in a female protagonist, then maybe that problem wouldn't be there as much. The only game that I ever played female for a full playthrough is Mass Effect, I play other rpgs and I never felt like taking the female choice before this game,yes I have to say that I am a fan of the voice actress playing her so it made it easier for me to go to a female. But at the end, I liked how she talked, how she could look, how she fit in and how she dealt with her emotions and the events. I can't say that I had that feeling with other female in other games and I know quite a few guys who had no issues playing femshep and I wouldn't be surprise if it was because of the way Bioware portrayed her in the game.

Possibly, it depends how dead it is, unfortunately, a broken hard drive often mean the lost of everything that was on it. But if you want to make sure, I would just connect the old hard drive inside the new computer, as long as you use the same interface as the new computer (ie: SATA), you should be able to do it this way, you might need extra cables but you might be able to use the ones from your old computer. If you can get your files back, great but like I said, they might be lost, some computer repair companies might be able to recover files from a broken hard drive but it is usually not cheap.

Yes I am sure, even found it in the creation kit, the chance of it happening is quite small from what I can tell.

There is the option of your family being kidnapped in Hearthfire, my family was never kidnapped but I saw videos of it. They ask for a ransom and will send you a note as well.

Alright I already have a working beggar mod, the amount of gold you can get from begging get higher as your speechcraft is higher(to a max of 20gold), there is a chance of them refusing and you can only ask 1 npc every 30 mins ( maybe get it up to an hour?) It doesnt look like the disposition stat can be used as a condition so I have to scratch that, also considering adding the option that you cannot beg unless you have less than 500g or something like that. Having a chance of them not giving it would also be easy to do and has to be there imo, you could give a few criterias that the game would look at such as the player speechcraft, disposition of the npc, relationship etc. You can also put it as there is 1 chance out of 5 that they give you a gold piece+ a timer before which you can ask a npc again. I could do a mod like that pretty easily if we keep the options simple. Sorry for my non-perfect english

Well I dont know how to do for the sitting animation spell but adding an option to ask for a gold coin, let say once every hour could be very easily done.

I am now almost done with adding the quest and will start looking for voice actors next week, Hope to have the final thing done by may.

You could use some of those castles mods I guess or don't they have enough beds?

Did you had a particular idea in mind for the quest? I am pretty good with building simple quests but I am not that great with ideas for them :P

did you set up the properties of gold001? You need to go to the properties tab, add properties, choose miscobject and then gold001.

Hum, I think there is someone remaking it, I remember reading a thread about it on the beth forums.

Requests often don't get answers, if you are the only one wanting this mod or modders don't want to do it, then it is normal that there is no answer. I look at requests but usually won't answer unless I know a mod who does it, want to do it, or want to offer my opinion on it, otherwise I don't answer because it is of no interest to me. And when you ask for help? Well that happens as well, I asked plenty of questions here about creation kit and mods and it happens often that I have no answer. People aren't here to answer to your topics specificaly, they are here to post on what they want to. Often problems can be fixed on their own if you go back to them and try again.

I am not sure it is possible to be honest, or it would be extremely time consuming since every single armor would need to be changed to implement this. I even did a mod that added "enchanted" gems that could just be equipped to have that little feeling of sockets but it is very far from the same since they take extra slots and arent inserted in an armor.

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12452 This might work for you For the assassin, they stop attacking you if you join the dark brotherhood so if you don't join, you will see them again, for the goons, I am guessing you are talking about the hired thugs, so if you steal stuff, they will come back eventually but Sands of time might work, plenty of attacks from goons :).

I guess you could do it through message boxes in the creation kit but that would be a very long process, or it could work like skyrim but silent files instead of voiced dialogues, you would need to change a lot of things however.
