  1. since you've had NMM thus far , you probably have it assigned to handle NXM links , meaning that Vortex isn't set to handle these links , which is why the downloads don't start so you can fix this by changing Vortex to handle these links . it's somewhere in the setting , and there are several threads regarding this . unfortunately I've never personally used Vortex , so I can't give you specific instructions if you do want to use NMM again , you can download the latest version here https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Nexus-Mod-Manager/releases though you'll still need to verify NMM is set to handle NXM links , but that is something you should know how to do if you've used NMM before , and this has been discussed so often over the years you're bound to find an answer if you simply search for it hope this will fix your issue :)

  7. 3440x1440? is this a 21x9 resolution? because naturally the game shows you resolutions in a 16x9 aspect ratio so you need to either specify the different aspect ratio to get the different resolution options , or just edit the ini files though you should note that the game isn't really meant for an ultra wide resolution , and you'll need to tweak it to run properly in such a resolution (just google Skyrim ultra wide resolution or something like that , you should see results discussing this) also note that most mods are meant for either 16x9 or at best 16x10 resolutions , so you'll also need to check mods if they actually work with such resolutions (this is mostly about UI mods like SkyUI)
  8. could you please explain again? because as far as I know , the only premium feature is the ability to set the number of results you get per page other than that , nothing is locked behind any paywall , least of all general access to pages could you please post a link to the page you are trying to access? and maybe an image showing what you see when you try to access further pages? also , which browser do you use?

  11. since both mod authors seem to be active , why don't you ask them about this? I mean , both mods don't specify permissions for porting , so whoever wants to post the port will need their permissions anyhow , so why don't you ask them if they even allow such a port?

  15. NifSkope is actually a pretty good way of doing this , though the results will definitely vary depending on what kind of tools you are running in your game something like ENB can create drastically different results in how specific textures will look , thus making your searching out of the game less effective I would recommend using that system to at least choose the ones you like best , and then going in game to select between these finalists , to make sure you get exactly what you want (as how it looks in game is what ultimately counts) but this is definitely an easier way than editing the item and creating multiple versions to test in game

  18. it's not just TES5Edit you need a different nif file , and you need to edit it to use the correct texture path and you would also need to create the new items , which I'm not sure you can do completely in TES5Edit (though maybe you can , I'm not an expert with the program) my best suggestion for you is to use Mod Organizer (1 or 2) , and just change the mod order , run the game and test the textures (take screenshots if needed) just rinse and repeat until you have the data on all mods , and you should be done it's definitely going to take time , but won't require editing dozens of nifs and creating many new items just to test them
  19. it would require work assuming it's something like a weapon , you could create a copy of the weapon , create a copy of the model and assign it the different texture (that you would have to rename , so it won't overwrite the original) , implement it and load it into the game , and then just add both versions of the weapon and compare the two but it's only that simple for items that your character can use something like trees or buildings require inserting these into the game , which is far more difficult to do so unless there is something magical I'm not thinking of , there is no real easy way to do this
  20. are you sure NMM has support for Stardew Valley? because looking at the games on the latest version of NMM (https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Nexus-Mod-Manager/tree/master/Game%20Modes) , I can't see the game note that while the Nexus hosts mods for over 600 games , only a few have NMM support though it does seem like Vortex has support for this game , so maybe that's the mod manager you should use with it

  22. as far as I'm aware , in order to create a black profile , you need to create it from a blank profile if you create a new profile from a modded one , those mods should carry over to the new profile one way to test this is to create a new profile , uninstall one mod from the old profile (preferably a small one you can easily reinstall without issues) , switching over to the new profile and checking if the mod is still installed there or not not sure what kind of overwrites you're getting , though I'm not sure how the virtual installation works on NMM (I'm assuming you're using an updated version of NMM with the virtual installation) but it could be something as simple as readme files , or it could be actual mod files

  24. NMM does have a profile feature , that should allow you to run different mods on different profiles never used that feature of NMM , but I know it works in MO2 so it should work in NMM , but you'll have to verify how it works however , you may not even need such a feature I mean , female and male characters don't use the same paths (when it comes to meshes) , so female mods shouldn't conflict with male mods this is more about using something like different combat mods of perk overhauls , these will require you to set up different profiles , or switch between mods every time you want to play (which is not recommended) so if you could be a bit more specific about what you wish to change between characters , it would help give you a better answer
