  1. All you bast*rds count yourselves lucky - you have a rare oppurtunity to get a free sig from a very talented individual. Props to him ....
  2. Dunno why that errored ... You might end up with 2 Wadsworths with placeatme, should the original ever show up again.
  3. The deed, it is done ..... http://www.fallout3nexus.com/imageshare/images/1489707-1266371390.jpg Three Dog lost the Good Fight. A glorious feeling to finally silence that loud, pretentious racial stereotype safe in his building while posing as a do-gooder helping the wasteland. The Knights outside put up a fight at least. And the ones in the Foyer. Yet did the Dawg have a word to say about the person who killed everyone in his building and nuked the Citadel? Nope. Wasn't even hostile. When attacked, he runs away. No surprise then that he cowers away from the world in the GNR building. Good riddance .... EDIT: I might as well show off my original male character too. Alexander, level 30 Messiah. Has done basically everything the game has to offer. Where there were 2 choices, he did the opposite of my female character, ie nuked megaton, bombed the mobile base crawler, etc. Alexander: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/images/5757-4-1266376503.jpg http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/images/5757-1-1266376503.jpg http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/images/5757-3-1266376503.jpg Modded Japanese power armour: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/images/5757-2-1266376503.jpg Has gone through loads of companions: Clover, Charon, Fawkes, Cross, Lucy West, Sydney. http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/images/9320-1-1263378908.jpg http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/images/9320-1-1263861338.jpg
  4. *open console* prid 7c130 *enter* resurrect *enter* moveto player *enter* *close console* (try prid 7F477 if the 1st ID doesn't work)
  5. Yes, that's what I was going to suggest. The resurrect command works strangely. For example, Charon died for me once outside the Citadel. I resurrected him, but found that his inventory had been reset to default. His AI also behaved as if he was still standing in the 9th Circle before I hired him (Talk. To. Ahzrukhal.) What resurrect does is it resets the NPC as well as the NPC's status in a particluar quest. So, the fact that you have resurrected Simms AFTER installing your mod means he isn't working properly. Resurrect Simms, talk to him to see if he still gives you his spiel welcoming you to Megaton or whatever, save, install the mod and see what happens then ....
  6. "Right"? Might makes right. A government is a group with a monopoly over the use of "legitimate" force within a given territory. What is within that groups power to effect, it will effect. Therefore, the death penalty is "right" and the government is within it's "rights" if it says so and gets away with it. It's the way the world works, kids ....
  7. Are you sure its Broken Steel that's causing your problems? As far as I know, problems with the ending movie and "2 weeks later" stem from custom races not being compatible, or the mod that allows continued play after Main Quest. That sort of thing. Post your load order of mods and we'll have a look at it ...
  8. You mean, when you're playing the game, you can't load a previous save? But can load a save from the main menu? ??
  9. My avatar is Noa, from the Sky Doll comic by Marvel. I would be much obliged if you could see your way to making a sig for her ...

    Kudos

My point was that as it stands there is only positive kudos. A member could be a complete fool, yet still have some kudos despite that. Ideally, the format should be either no kudos/rep system whatsoever or negative/positive allowed. I speak from experience as being a mod and an admin on philosophy forums ... Cliques can form that go around thumbing up each others comments, leading to members with abnormally high rep to contribution ratio. A facility allowing negative reps to be given counterbalances this behaviour.
  11. What he said. But generally I use FOMM to launch my game, which sidesteps the need to redirect shortcuts. It's very convenient when it comes to mod management ...... as the name might suggest.
  12. Something that people generally don't seem to understand is that placeatme SPAWNS an NPC, whereas moveto player moves the target to the player. That is why you have 2 Sallys - you spawned the second one.
  13. The level cap is 20 without broken steel installed. So, why did this not happen at level 21, 22? It makes me wonder whether you are using another mod that increases the level cap that might be conflicting .....?
  14. From the above link: Sounds like Vista is you're problem ...... as is ever the case .... Stupid Vista ....
  15. FOSE has full compatibility with FOMM. When you open FOMM and have FOSE installed, the option will change to "Launch FOSE" instead of "Launch Fallout". FOOK is a weapon mod, as far as I am aware. I don't use it. I think it adds various add-ons and customizations to existiong weapons as well as various new weapons ... The description on the mod page is not particularily helpful in this regard ...

    Kudos

There should be a "subtract kudos" or thumbs down option for certain members. Would be useful for trolls; if you see a questionable post, you can just glance below their avatar to see their reputation. Currently, you can only give positive points to reputation, which is skewed.
  17. The keyboard layout varies from country to country. On mine, European, the tilde key "~" is actually directly over the R-Shift key and is not the one that activates the console. Mine is "¬" which is directly below the ESC key. If that is not your problem, consult the following page: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Console
  18. From this page: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Into_The_Pitt Scroll down to the "Bugs" section In your case xx would be 02, I presume. If not, open console, click on Wernher and note the first 2 digits of his ID.
  19. You shouldn't drag and drop. That way files may end up in the wrong place. E.G. you might accidentally drop the Data folder into another, incorrect, folder. I find it is best to Copy then Paste into the correct directory. E.G. copy a mods Meshes folder and Paste it into your Fallout3/Data folder. If you want to uninstall you can keep the mods original folder on your desktop for reference ...
  20. So, what I want to do is create a companion who uses the face of my female lone wanderer. My male character could then recruit her as a follower etc etc. How is the facegen data extracted from the save file and transferred to an NPC via GECK?
  21. Project Beauty is something I've been using from the start. What it does is improve the faces of various NPCs, but not in a "pretty" way. The raiders in particular look more vicious and brutal. Highly recommended. HK USP pistols adds 2 pistols, one suppressed, which are more powerful than the 10 mm but not by much. I installed it and quit using it because I preferred the power of my tri-beam. Looks excellent though. Tailor Maid adds lots of clothing and alters existing outfits (non-replacing, just adds altered versions in various boxes), some of which I used you can check out in my post in the Fallout Character thread. Very good. MMM of course; Deathclaw Matriarchs, Gargantuans and Night Ghouls with their glowing eyes are things which should have been in the base game. Night Ghoul Eyes are also consumables which give you temporary night vision. This mod also has lots of plugins which allow you to increase spawns and make the game more of a challenge ... Note - you might want to steer clear of super mutant areas while using this as it tends to spawn behemoths as regular enemies; I myself encountered 2 behemoths at once near Rockbreakers Last Gas at a low level and had to run. Gargantuans too are difficult at a low level. If you are looking for quest mods, then CUBE Experimental is absolutely excellent and almost a game in its own right. Very reminiscent of Half-Life 2 and Portal. Firefly Ranch is another, a very scary quest which rewards you with a luxurious house vault upon completion. Usually I uninstall after completion, this I kept. Devoured in Darkness, about being captured by a cannibal and enduring drug-induced hallucinations; the logic of some of the puzzles is questionable, but it is still enjoyable nonetheless. Stealth suit wise: Reinforced Chinese Stealth suit. Chinese Stealth Suit Feminized. US UK RU Stealth Armors (non-replacing) - this allows you to equip camo-patterned stealth suits with or without the helmet. Gaijunes helmetless stealth suit was the basis. Power Armour wise: Coyote Reflex Power Armour (I wouldn't recommend this myself, but it is flashy and popular, so check it out). Japanese Power Armour (buggy, but beautiful). Pipboy Readius, removes the pipboy in 3rd person and replaces it with a hand-held thingy in 1st person. Looks cool. Bravo Mod - replaces a male PC's voice with that of Johnny Bravo. Funny. Female Voice Replacer - excessively feminine. You may find yourself getting distracted by dishonourable thoughts during a firefight ..... The moans and cries are ...... suggestive. ;) Enclave Commander - does what it says on the tin. Unique Dogmeat - allows you to change dogmeats texture while not effecting all other dogs in the game. ATM, only german shepard. Dogmeat Leather Armour also increases his durability a little. Sydney Follower - converts Sydney who you meet during the Stealing Independence quest into a full companion. Hands down the best companion mod on nexus. Mostly because Sydney has ten times the character and personality of any of the default companions. Sprint Mod - allows you to sprint while consuming AP. The higher your Agility, the faster you go. Simply and highly satisfying mod. Use it all the time. That's about all I can think of at the moment. Hope you get something of use out of it ....
