[Request] Separate grenade / melee attack button?
GSmog replied to Erindriel's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
I would like all of the hardcoded buttons to be fixed... like Alt for hold breath. Thats the one i hate the most. And a option for toggle aim~ -
Lone Wanderer perk, keep it with any companions ?
GSmog replied to NobodieCro's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
I was about to ask if it worked with dogmeat or not. :) Thanks -
changing the stats on items is super easy actually, though I only know how to do so with the mod tools which arent out yet.

Cool, I always prefered quests where people voice acted the lines. Instead of redoing all the main character lines maybe keep your ear to the ground for anyone wanting their NPC's voiced. :) I remember my favorite mod for skyrim was one called "Interesting NPC's" where they had probably 30 or so different voice actors playing various characters so messaging any of them would be a good start I think. Until we get the tools for modding fallout4 though what we can do is fairly limited but I expect modding to boom for fallout 4 in a month or two whenever they get released. And so Im sure theres people already thinking of their own quests and stories making scripts for their characters.

[mod/save game request] character that looks like this.
GSmog replied to Solgath's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
Always room to improve! The editor is actually rather powerful and easy to use, you'll just need to spend time on it~~~ Can also go to the doctor that changes your face in diamond city though doesnt have to be a new character per say -
Hah I had a similar idea. But imagine instead of a mutant horse what about a Larger Mecha Buttercup to ride on  http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Giddyup_Buttercup_(Fallout_4) If ya go to the factory they have various notes on it, being said to be strong enough the little versions were kicking holes through the floor so they had to keep dialing back its strength. Imagine a fully powered larger one~

Actually instead of that Im hoping it doesnt, and instead a mod where we can build something that requires electricity to charge fusion cores at base. Like one of those generator stations where you always find a fully charged core.

Existing mods you want recreated for Fallout 4
GSmog replied to Taejang007's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
Hah I know Im probably the odd one out here, though not the only one when I say I cant wait for the collection of Devious mods from Skyrim to get ported over to Fallout 4. :D -
[mod/save game request] character that looks like this.
GSmog replied to Solgath's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
Thats how one of my characters looks like, minus that exact hair style and glasses [because they dont exist unless ya count the black rimmed ones which dont look like that] Im pretty sure the artist made some artistic changes though, why not ask the person who drew it? Its probably supposed to be their character -
Im sure you could use a play anim command and smoke if ya wanted to, Im not sure what smoking would do though... raise a stat temporarily at the cost of lowering Max HP? Which one? And dont say Charisma because its cool :p

I had an idea for an alternate start actually, you see the bomb go off and unable to get into the vault if you tell the salesman no, and wake up in the institute as a synth just not knowing it~ :p

Hah when stealthing I always just tell them "you stay there..." so, yea they probably need some buffs to be less noticable. Maybe give them all the stealth perks or something. Thanks for the link to legendary effects though, I was wondering if we had a complete list of them yet.

So if you get your Science! high enough you can upgrade your power armor helmet with a few goodies. I noticed two I assume do the exact same thing... so I was wondering which is better? Sensor Array= Reqs Science 3, +2 Perception VATS Matrix Overlay= Reqs Science 2, Increases Vats Hit chance. Now as far as I have been able to tell, perception doesnt do much in fallout 4, its tied to perks and gives a better chance to hit something in VATS. Though Im unsure how much each point gives... does anyone know how much more each point gives? And does anyone know how much an Increase the VATS Overlay gives? Does Perception do anything else? If so can you verify? Perception used to help find enemies better but now I guess it doesnt as only enemies looking for you [caution or danger mode] show up, and does so now automatically regardless of how high or low perception is. Now Id assume the perception increase would be better because I like raising my SPECIAL... but since I dont have three Power Armor Helms I cant really verify one way or the other. Id need a standard one so I can see what my base chance is, one with a sensor array for the +2 perception to see what those chances are, and Id need a VATS Overlay helm to compare all three... probably would also have to quick save near an enemy while hidden too since I cant target friendlies. So... before I do all that [have to go to sleep soon] figured Id see if anyone else knew before I spent all that time doing so... Edit: Now that Im thinking about it, anyone have some verification on how much an EXP increase each point of intelligence gives too? Been wondering that~ Nevermind I found it, apparently each point gives a 3% difference, so, 30% difference at 10... but considering most things dont give much experience this is usually less than 1 exp point in most cases for most enemies... so I guess I can see why I didnt notice it. Id figure it'd be at least 5% each point, or 10% even. Double the exp at level 10 seems fair. *shrug* Id mod it myself if I could~ Edit2: As I figured it would, the Vats specific one has slightly higher Vats chance by 2 or 3 percent, which is about the same as not having a helmet versus wearing a Perception helmet. Not as big a difference as I was expecting, but thats also at fairly good range away, medium ish. Still I wonder if the perception is supposed to do anything else other than Vats.

I accidentally clicked the wrong gun to name, and now it sorta sets off my OCD that I can't get its name to revert back to the default standard name changing thing. Anyway I can do it or should I just sell it and forget about it?

Just to update everyone, someone made an ammo crafting mod. :) Its new and just out but it exists. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/798/?

Sandcrete Architecture for settlements.
GSmog replied to KillerBee256's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
Seems really nice, I like. Would also be nice to see versions of metal and wood walls that didnt seem shot up already and falling apart, aka, less sucky versions~ -
I was wondering the same thing, they also give more food than normal which is nice since one person can work several of them for more reward. We should have more farming/planting options.
-
Technically pet cats already exist, just not as companions :p Also you have a child already~ Shaun remember? :p I would also like more newish looking stuff I can build though, instead all these walls and ceilings full of holes etc. Its weird there isnt like perks to make more advanced or improved variations of things. Cant even seem to polish up dear ole Codsworth.

I was thinking something similar, like a way to polish him up again so he looks different than other Handys

does dirty water do anything else? and 3-1 ratio sounds a little unfair really, figured we would be able to boil and filter it that way~ But yea I knew that the water purifiers give you some too. :) So does codsworth if you travel around with him.
