    Being tough isn't the only virtue attributed to men. there are others that really matter more.

    Indeed, like an ability to open a pickle jar without doing this to every fork in the house:

    Thats not toughness thats technique and finesse in combination with a bit of muscles and brains (knowledge in basic physics helps too)

    You said toughness is not the only virtue of men and that there are others that matter more. Opening pickle jars is a virtue, is it? :biggrin:

    True But never the less skillng pickel jar opening is only second to eating the pickels. :biggrin:

    Indeed.

    Also, here's a fun fact, my girlfriend always spends at least 5 minutes trying to open a pickle jar (usually destroys a fork or two in the process) before she brings it to me. And then after I finally pop it open, she doesn't want pickles anymore because she's angry due to failing to open the jar in the first place. :mellow:

    There is one that needs pickle jar opening skill indeed. It doesn't need much strength to open it. Only the right uses of skills. She needs to raise her skills to level up. ;D

    That mellow face, again! I'm going to draw it on a piece of paper, and then burn it.

    Bad Mojo and curses in progress...

    *turn into the direction of M48A5 and lifts both arms up, moves the fingers in atypical pattern like to grab a sexy giantess on the you know what and chants loud and clearly*

    "GOBBLE, GOBBLE, GOBBLE, GOBBLE, GOBBLE!"

    Why so afraid of your feelings? :geek:

    Being tough isn't the only virtue attributed to men. there are others that really matter more.
    Example: defending of the weak and oppressed.

    It is easy to be tough or seam tough, but to do the right thing is more difficult than being tough.

    Hmm i heard about this before, but i never thought about it until now, especially sense that new yuotube video, i Googled it and this link came up.

    quoted youtube title and google linked me to

    http://www.bubblews.com/news/460373-mysterious-orbs-found-in-ancient-mexical-temple

    site

    http://www.scribd.com/doc/128248292/The-Mystery-Of-The-Bosnian-Pyramid

    i am skeptical about the claims though, even though i am a believer of UFo's and Aliens in general. I always liked that quote, if there isn't alien life, then that's just a giant waste of space.

    I can't think of the title of the movie though.

    Oh god, not you too! :psyduck:

    I live very close to Bosnia and I go there almost every week. The Bosnian pyramid is a lie, just like the cake.

    Good because my post did state i was skeptical and i was right, thanks for the reassurance :biggrin: One thing i can't stand is lies like that lol.. And youtube trolls

    If this isn't a 'hoax', they found the orbs of the great acient ones, Lovecraft was refering to in one of his stories. If my memory serves me well. :whistling:

  7. Does anyone here know much HTML/JavaScript? I've got a problem in this code that I just can't pinpoint!

    <html>

    <head>

            <script type="text/javascript">
            function getSelection()
            {
    		dropdownselect[0] = "Nothing";
                    dropdownselect[1] = "Maps";
                    dropdownselect[2] = "Weather";
                    dropdownselect[3] = "Beach Conditions";
                    dropdownselect[4] = "Traffic";
                    list = document.getElementById("select selection");
                    index = list.selectedIndex;
                    theselection  = list.options[index].text;
                    document.getElementById("result").innerHTML = "You have chosen " + dropdownselect[index]
            }
            </script>

    </head>

    <body>

            <center>
    	<select id="select selection" onchange="getSelection()">
    	<option selected="selected"> Nothing </option>
    	<option> Maps </option>
    	<option> Weather </option>
    	<option> Beach Conditions </option>
    	<option> Traffic </option>
    	</select>
    	<center>

    	<p id="result"></p>

    </body>

    </html>

    These are the bits that aren't working. What I'm trying to do, is make it so that when I select one of the options in the dropdown menu, it displays the message "You have chosen " + dropdownselect[index] with the variables filled in. Problem is, it doesn't even show up at all. Can anyone help? Or should I start over?

    I have looked over it, then I copied it and did let it run on HTML script tester site, because I didn't find anything at first glance.

    Result : the displayed script worked. The variables showed in a drop down menu and where selectable.

    :psyduck: No Idea why above script isn't working for you.
