  1. After a while of playing with MM toggled spells, I noticed some of the spells weren't available in their toggleable versions, like they should be, so I tried moving the esp down my list. It fixed that problem, but created a new one. Now, I get this spell sound repeatedly playing at random intervals. I can't figure out why it's doing that! It sounds like a ranged spell hitting me.
  2. In the skills menu of the CS, I can only edit the descriptions of the skills. Is there a way to edit the actual skills themselves?
  3. The Unofficial Oblivion Patch has a "fix broken attributes" option. Disrobe all items, activate the UOP in your menu, then select fix broken attributes and it should put fatigue back to the listed value. If it flows over again, just use UOP again :) Thanks man, it seems to have worked.
  4. I recently noticed my characters fatigue level maxed out at about 50 points MORE than the listed maximum fatigue. After disabling all fatigue modifying mods, this still continues to happen. Does anyone know what could be causing this, and, more importantly, how to fix it?
  5. I want to modify the script(s) in this mod: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35025 to slow hunger, and increase how much food "Fills you", for my own personal use. I've looked it over, and tried a few things, but I can't make much sense out of these complicated scripts. Could someone with more advanced scripting knowledge figure it out, please?
  6. Use the Add/remove programs tool to uninstall FOMM, then find your FOMM folder, usually in either Gemm or Steam folders, and delete it.
  7. Looks like you figured out the problem all on your own.
  8. Yeah, Steam is troublesome. When I was installing Mass Effect 2, I had to restart steam 3 or 4 times, before the game would actually lauch. Every time I restarted Steam, it found another thing it should download for the game. So I just kept restarting it untill the game would work.
  9. Sounds like your pip-boy is having a problem playing the sound files. I do remember that the Pip-boy plays a different type of file than the radios scattered around the wasteland. Can you remember exactly when this problem started, and antyhing you were doing at the time?
  10. Well, Steam did just issue an update for New Vegas. It's possible that you are another victim of automatic updates. I'd suggest contacting Steam Support.
  11. Have you tried uninstalling FOMM completely, including deleting any leftover files, and reinstalling it?
  12. I want to find the head of Steam updates and shout this in his ear with a megaphone: FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU....... >:( (P.S. I REALLY hate automatic updates)
  13. I already did that, after waiting several weeks (real life) to find the carbine scope.
  14. I've been playing for months (in-game) and have been checking the vendors regularly, both through this play through and my last one, and NOT ONCE did I see the Trail carbine scope. That's the problem. It's not appearing in the vendor list that it should be.
  15. Just a few minutes of searching on the New Vegas Nexus could have shown you this: http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36874
  16. Purple Eyes? Sounds like there's either something wrong with your monitor, your graphics card, or your install of New Vegas.
  17. The vendors did refresh when I used the wait function, I fail to see how exiting the game would refresh their inventory any differently. The scope is just not appearing in any of the lists.
  18. That would be neat. That would make Power armor more useful, since it covers the entire body.
  19. Sounds like a problem I once had. If it's the same cause, then it's a problem with your computer not interfacing with the keyboard properly. I don't remember how I fixed it, but I remember something about "regional settings" I'd recommend doing a Google search.
  20. When did you first notice this happening? Have you ever encountered a Behemoth in New Vegas before trying to make a mod? If so, were the Behemoths normally textured? Did you test the game without any mods running? If no mods are causing this, then you have a problem with the game itself, and that will make it very hard to make a working mod. The only things that I can think of that would cause the Behemoths to take nearby textures, is either they are set to be super reflective, and are merely reflecting whatever is near them, or they are missing textures all together, and the game is just pasting whatever it can onto them to make them visible. If disabling all of your mods doesn't fix the problem, I'd recommend re-installing New Vegas, as it's probable that there is something wrong with the files in the game itself. If you do decide to re-install New Vegas, after the uninstaller has finished, (Or steams delete local content window), go into your New Vegas Folder, and delete everything in there to remove any possible problem files before re-installing.
  21. Timscale? Come to think of it, I seem to remember reading something about using the console to adjust the timescale creating problems, but I can't remember where I saw it. If you really want a customizable timescale, I'd recommend giving this mod a try: http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34718 I'm using it, and I haven't had the problem you seem to have had.
  22. I'd suggest looking at your video setting in your ATI control panel, to see if anything there would override the settings in NV. If that fails, perhaps you could try rolling back the drivers and see if you still have the problem?
  23. Do the Behemoths look messed up in New Vegas without any mods?
  24. ED-E has triggers built into the scripts related to it, that go off when certain events happen while it's in your party. There is a set number of events that need to happen before the next message will play, so unless you played your game exactly like the guy who did the walkthrough, it's quite likely that you haven't triggered the required number of events for the next message to play. As for Helios one, for the superlaser (Archimedes 2) to work, Helios One will need to divert all it's power to charge it. However, there is also an Archemedes 1, which is a local defense system for Helios One. Only activate Archemedes 1 if you want to kill all the NCR troopers stationed around the bottom of the tower. Archemedes 1 can be activated as long as you pick any option other than Emergency Output; picking that option will devote every ounce of power Helios One can generate to the power grid. As for where to route the power, that is more up to where you want it to go, and what rewards you want. -Macarran and The Strip - This will get you NCR reputation and some caps from Fantastic. -Freemont and Westside- This will please the Followers of the Apocalypse, but not as much as diverting power to everywhere. -Everywhere- The Followers think this is the best option; it will get you Positive Rep with them, and Ignacio will give you a Big Book of Science. -Archemedes 2- This will divert power to the Superlaser, allowing you to use Euclid's C-Finder to call down the Superlaser once a day; this will also gain you a bit of rep with the Followers -Everywhere, Emergency Output- This will cause Helios One to divert all power to the grid, robbing Archimedes 1 the power it needs to work. No rep is gained, but Ignatio will still give you some rewards. The options can be changed at any time, untill you descend to the panel on the outside of the tower and throw the switch, at which point the solar reflectors will realign, and the option(s) you have selected will engage, and will be permanently locked into place.
  25. I noticed this too, and it also annoyed me. I'm working on adding a torso to-hit percentage increase to the Center of Mass perk. I'm currenlty testing it. Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be a way to increase it outright.
