there were 3 things causing crashes on my setup so far 1. my game crashes in about 5 minuets without the memory tweak on this steam forum http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2227329 scroll down to where it says "Memory limit increase - fix lagging " 2. Windows updates / .net updates 3, spyware/malware/viruses also good to defrag

i get CTDs without using the memory tweak in skyrim.ini in mydocuments/games/skyrim under the [papyrus] section add: iMinMemoryPageSize=100000 iMaxMemoryPageSize=5000000 iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes=1800000000 its on the steam forums, http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2227329 honestly without this i get a crash withnin 5 minuets, with it i can play for over 8 hours

running 2 5750s 1gb each tried a lot of diffrent catalyst versions and still get werid flashing in the water ripples. and crossfire on my setup makes the screen flicker if the fps isnt solid 60... sometimes it works great, some times it stutters non stop i would suggest a powerful single card setup for skyrim... but thats just me, your cards might be powerful enough to do it, but i dont know about ssao via enb maybe try lowering your enb ssao settings?

yeah definatly try the 31 or 35 fps cap with dxtory (makes the game playable for me) and the render ahead to 0, for your look sensitivity set it down at first, test it then set it higher if need be, i found that setting the sensitivity too high in skyrim makes it slower in some cases... especially with the mouse acceleration disabled also for your oblivion drifting is because of the dead zone settings. luckily xpadder has settings for the sticks. click on the wrench next to where u assign keys for the sticks, and then click on settings at the top. increase the dead zone size if TFWC works good then your controller is fine. skyrim is a strange game lol

[papyrus] should be at the bottom of skyrim.ini not skyrimprefs.ini if its not there, add it! and good luck!

id like to point out that without the memory tweak i get a crash within 2 minuets of play. CTD without errors in skyrim.ini under the [papyrus] section add the lines: iMinMemoryPageSize=100000 iMaxMemoryPageSize=5000000 iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes=1800000000 this tweak is the reason skyrim plays on my setup maybe it will help u too

how does the controller work with other games? on my setup i get the lag you speak of (with a wired xbox controller) when i lock my fps at 30, but 31 and i dont get input lag perhaps use dxtory to lock your framerate at 31 or 35? use your nvidea control panell to set the render ahead limit to 5 or 3 or 0 (im on ati) or flip Que size

add these lines to your skyrim.ini under the [Papyrus] section iMinMemoryPageSize=100000 iMaxMemoryPageSize=5000000 iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes=1800000000 without these i get the instant crash to desktop with no errors might help you! also make sure windows is updated and .net is updated defrag, and antivirus/malware scan is allways a good idea

Go to C:\Users\[uSERNAME]\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Open skyrim.ini, and check for [Papyrus] section. If it's not present, just create one at the end of the file. running no mods that affect the spell. left hand works just fine.. but right hand results in instant ctd found a few posts about it too http://skyrimforums.org/threads/bound-sword-spell-causing-ctd.5222/ anyone here on nexus have a fix that doesn't involve starting a new game?

so i found the papyrus script for wabbajack, thats where it gets its many effects, does anyone know how to code more in?? if it were a true sherrogorath staff, it would have Everything, bloody explosion?, turn into a hawk? turn into a cow? permanently turned into a bunch of gems? turned into smoke which just fades away with sound of laughter in background..? random spell jumps from npc to npc? with different effects on jump and or the same effects? permanently turned into a group of butterflies? shooting random items as projectiles? pots pans ale, ect? shrink/ grow nps? anyways, thought it would be awesome.

buy it on steam and get the newest patch? it has lots of optimization

hmm. all latest drivers? sli/crossfire? what are your system specs? when i was having random crashes with no error screens, it was from malware/trojans,that disabled my antivirus and ended up ruining my computer. and i had to re install windows virus scan, defragment, update drivers, re-verify steam chache, use gamebooster (you have to go to the little wrench icon on game booster and click on settings, and un-check switch to gaming mode when steam game is launched and uncheck switch to normal mode when game is over, because it turns off when the skyrim launcher closes and starts skyrim) also very importiant is boss http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=6 its sorting software to make sure u dont get mod conflicts make sure u make a back up of your original load order tho!!!

you could try this open "archive.exe" in your skyrim folder. it was installed with your creation kit. it is a more advanced bsa packer then when u go to upload your mod, it will find the allready made BSA make sure its spelled EXACTLY the same as your .esp

im looking for the world map tho? i want to place objects on the 3d world map ive looked in both those cells and cant find the in game map

the main menu has no background, its a empty cell the game loads on start! well not entirely empty, the dragon symbol is actually a 3d mesh, i replaced it with a map mesh and made it bigger and centered, and added a hd texture, thus making it have a wallpaper! http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=3708 now its a dds file to edit!
