  1. Olivia stared at Caladus for a moment... that sounded vaguely familiar for some odd reason. "Nice to meet you Caladus. I'm Olivia May. I have received special training from Master Relamas of the nation Wa." Olivia began, as she thought for a moment. "I see no harm in helping you collect wood, and yes... I was a captive in that forsaken temple. But I managed to get out." Olivia said. She was about to start collecting firewood until she saw the Witch again, but she appeared and left so quickly... She must be imagining it. "Let's go, shall we?" She added, as he walked off, reaching down occasionally to pick up firewood.
  2. "Agreed, she probably wouldn't look in the Churches first, since there are the most obvious places to hide. However, were going to need a plan if were ever going to have a chance at taking down Victoria." Logan said, as he straightened himself, feeling a little bit better.
  3. "As from what I have seen, no-one. More then however, if I can trust you all. Since the mess at the temple..." Olivia began, but trailed off.
  4. "We need to find a place that's more... secluded from the city. So that Victoria can't track what were doing all the time." Logan said, rubbing his arm where the IV was.
  5. Olivia turned around quickly, again her hand tightly gripped on the Katana's handle. The man standing behind her was a Drow, but weirdly a male Drow. Which was pretty rare. However, she cocked her head when he called her a 'Witch'... "I'm not a witch... I have no idea where you got the idea for that. Also, I came from the temple, where your group tore through the whole thing, I was going to bring the 'Witch' who was living in the temple, but it seems that you have done that already." Olivia replied.
  6. Olivia, who was still cautious, moved up from tree to tree. Silently moving between each one until she was close enough to make out some features. It seemed that one of the Avariel found a box of some sort... Still however, she stayed in the cover of the tree just encase.
  7. Logan smiled, "Good, so you haven't completely lost your mind." He said, determining that Blythe was serious. He looked down the hall to his left, then his right. "And it seems that Victoria left. Also good." Logan added as he looked back at Blythe.
  8. Norgold looked around as everyone seemed to be settling down near the pond. He however, had some other plans that he was going to attend too. After some careful thought and consideration, he planned on returning to Heliogabalus, to make sure it was safe from the ever lingering doom. Norgold unsheathed Byron's hammer and admired it once more, he smiled at the memories of the crazy dwarf, as he walked toward where Caladus had set down his pack, and put the hammer next to it. He looked back to see Rhaine and Shaori bathing in the pond. He smiled once more as he turned around and headed into the forest. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Olivia was looking toward the beaten path where she first came down from the Temple entrance. She breathed in deeply and began walking back up the path, which was quite tough due to the steepness, and the dirt was lose. However, she managed to climb back up to where the entrance was, the gleaming light from the door made her cover her eyes from the brightness. She slowly approached the door and reached out to grab the door handle, but something stop her and she quickly spun around with her hand tightly gripped around the Katana's sword grip. She quickly looked around to reveal that it was only a small rabbit that was hopping along by, She smiled and laughed to herself as she turned around and opened the door to the Temple. Once inside, reveal a gruesome battle scene, from which there was multiple mutilated body's and massive amounts of blood on the floor. She covered her nose from the incredibly strong smell of death that filled the room. "What the Hells happened here..." Olivia said quietly to herself, as she maneuvered around the dead bodies to the other end of the room. When she reached the other side, she turned around and shook her head, and continued on. She explored the rest of the temple, only to find it empty and no signs of any Cult members or the woman. Olivia, however, found a different exit then the one she entered. Going through the door, revealed that she was on top of a mountain past, and the wind and snow was picking up. She took a few steps to reveal the almost erased footprints, from what it seemed it was a bigger group. She looked back at the entrance, then the pathway down the mountain. Olivia sighed and quickly started descending the mountain. As she was walking down, a woman quickly ran past Olivia, almost knocking her down over the cliff. Before she could say anything, she disappeared into the snowy mist. Olivia grunted and continued down the path until she came into a hidden grove area. Now a little bit more cautious, she took light steps and looked around, until she heard splashing nearby and she took cover behind a tree. Olivia slowly but cautiously looked over to see that there was, what seemed to be, two people in the pond. She was to far away to make out what they looked like, but both had wings... Avariel maybe?... No, they're just myths... They couldn't be. However, she wasn't entirely sure. Then, there was the woman in the hood, who again, couldn't make anything out from the distance from where the tree was. From what she was wearing, she was a Ranger of sorts. Then there was the tall Illithid... The robes seemed to be in royal fashion, incredibly expensive. What caught her eye though, was what was in his hands, it was wrapped somewhat neatly. It looked important, but again, she wasn't sure. For the most part, it seemed that the Witch wasn't with them. But her trust wasn't completely there... not yet.
  9. Logan shook his head again. "This is how it starts, you think you can trust them, but just when you think that nothing could happen, they kill you." Logan said, as he ripped out his IV and got up from the bed. The pain was tremendous, but he didn't care. Using the bed for support, than the wall, he made his way to the door. "This is goodbye then." Logan said, as he opened the door. He looked back one more time and stepped outside, and started walking down the hall.
  10. "Blythe... She's manipulating *censored*! Of course she's going to back stab us." Logan began, calming himself down. "We can't do this, if you go with her, then I leave. I will not go down this road only for us to be killed." Logan said seriously.
  11. Logan shook his head, "This has bulls*** all over it!" Logan said in a loud tone. He knew what Victoria was capable of, and lying was one of them. "Blythe, your not seriously thinking about accepting that!" Logan said, again in a loud tone.
  12. Logan wanted to get up right then and there to kill Victoria, but if he could barley situp, there was no-way he could take on Victoria. However, if Blythe or Anderson started a fight, she probably was here with a couple of bodyguard for backup. "I'm not like you, and I never will be, you cold hearted *censored*." Logan said coldly. He clenched his knuckles until they turned white.
  13. Logan thought for a moment, "That actually... Yeah, it makes perfect sense. The Illuminati wouldn't dare try to evoke a war, especially with one of the other major societies." Logan said, as he tried sitting up, only to fall back in pain. "Dammit..." Logan said. He hated being inactive, it made him feel useless. "It doesn't look like I'm going anywhere anytime soon. I know you both can handle yourselves, just don't do anything stupid. Alright?" Logan said.
  14. Logan turned his attention to Blythe's friend, "Good to meet you Father, and yes, I am Logan Bates." Now turning his attention back toward Blythe, "I've heard of them doing this, but I wasn't even in the hospital at the time... I guess light cameras but I didn't see any when we were riding. But I was half conscious and bleeding out." Logan continued. He listened to what Anderson had to say, "Never trust the Illuminati. They are there for power, nothing else. I had to learn that the hard way... And the Frenchman, his name is Raymond. We had a deal to bring down Victoria, but it seems he f***ed me over." He said, somewhat angered.
  15. Thomas went onto the deck with the other pirates and sat down on a barrel, to rest his leg. They continued to talk about the Golden Galleon, but at this point Thomas didn't think he was going to make it out alive. It was already odd that the Imperial Navy was helping them, but it was obvious that isn't going to be true once they reach the Galleon, it will probably be a deathmatch to see who can be the last one standing. Also, him and Shalena being the only pirates, were hopelessly outgunned, and outnumbered. Hopefully they can get the advantage if it boils down to that.
  16. Logan smiled, that old man comment he thought was never going to get old. However, there were still some questions that he had in his head. "I obviously wouldn't have made it without you Blythe, or your friend." Logan began, "But there was one thing that I still can't understand... How the hell did they know we were coming?" Logan asked, looking at Blythe.
  17. Hunter had forgotten about his check, which was still in his hand. He folded the check and put it in one of his pouches on his belt, and watch Teltis leave the alleyway. "See you," Hunter replied, as he himself exited the alleyway also and made his way back to the ship, which was also repaired. He entered the ship and opened the fridge door, which was restocked with beer. He grabbed one and closed the door, and sat in the pilots seat. He drank quietly as he watched the ever so busy docks.
  18. Hunter sighed, "Look, I know you were helping, but..." Hunter began, unsure of what to say. "We never really had proper goodbyes, but I'm still glad that we met each other." Hunter said, in a lowered tone then before. Even though he liked Teltis, he figured she didn't have the same feelings for him that he does.
  19. Logan went in and out of consciousness before the surgery, in the surgery, and afterwards. He was injected with anesthetics so he couldn't feel anything, but he could see what was going on. However, the last time he fell unconscious, he stayed there until he awoke some time later. In a hospital bed, with IV's in his arm that were giving him blood, and the beep of the heart monitor. He looked around the room to see that it was empty... He sighed and looked at his arm, which now had quite a few stitches and was swollen. Of course it hurt, but Logan ignored it for now.
  20. Hunter turned around to see Teltis, who immediately grabbed his arm and shoved him to the front. It was quite nice that he didn't have to wait, but he still had questions. As she left, Hunter turned the secretary who had already given his credits. "Teltis! Wait!" Hunter said, walking after her, pushing and shoving people out of the way. As he reached Teltis, he grabbed her shoulder and turned her around to face him. He looked around and pulled her into a nearby allyway. For the privacy. "What the hell was that?" Hunter asked, furious.
  21. Logan looked at Blythe, how could he die more then he is now? However, his vision started to fade into blackness and passing out, slamming his head into the window, cracking it.
  22. Logan looked back at Blythe, he wanted to tell her, but they have enough problems as it is. However, this is life threatening if he did get injected with it... "I don't think that they injected me... I think I was able to pull out the needle before that, hopefully. If I didn't... You don't want to know what's going to happen." Logan said, almost drifting asleep.
  23. Logan grinned when Blythe handed him his Colt. He figured that his Springfield was in one of the bags, now that they had some time, Logan looked where the needle pierced his arm. It wasn't bleeding, which was a good sign, but he's seen the Ravengers were actually programmed to start from a remote device... Which Victoria probably had. Logan looked over to Blythe, "Where to?" He asked softly, his symptoms still worse then ever.
  24. Logan noticed the incredibly tall man enter the car. He wasn't going to question Blythe, since it was obvious that she knew who the man was. However, turning attention back to himself, his blood loss symptoms had returned, especially the dizziness and feeling light headed. He reached down to grab his Colt, only to remember that it was still back at the safe house, along with his rifle and their belongings. "We need... to go back to the safe house... Our stuff is still there." Logan said as loud as he could, which wasn't more louder then a whisper.
  25. Logan, who was still dizzy, felt the needle puncture his skin. He looked over to see the vial, was that the same of a Aortic Ravager vial. His eyes widened, but he was totally helpless. He knew how lethal the Aortic Ravager's were, he needed to think of something, and fast. For unknown reasons, Logan managed to get enough strength to move himself again. He quickly grabbed the needle and ripped it, out, and stabbed the doctor in the eye and injected the Aortic Ravager into his eye. He screamed in pain as the other nurses and doctors tried as hard as they could to keep Logan down, but he was much tougher, and threw them off. He ran through the theater, disoriented and dizzy still, he managed to burst through the doors, where he ran into Blythe. "Let's go!" Logan yelled, as he helped up Blythe and ran as fast as he could through the halls, and outside of the hospital. "Where is the bike?" Logan asked, but he saw the parking garage and didn't give Blythe time to answer. As Logan ran through the first floor, he found a Saleen S7 sports car. Perfect. He looked at Blythe, and pointed to the front seat, "Drive!" He yelled, as he got into the passenger seat. He had no idea if they were following, but one thing that was on his mind right now was to run.
