  1. This is a great idea which I hope someone picks up. In the meantime it's not exactly what you're looking for, but I know there's a mod or two out there which reduce the hitbox of weapons and npc's .... which means you actually have to be the correct distance when hitting them. I only think to mention this because it would potentially reduce the 'aggro' problems maybe :)? Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the mod but if you look through the combat mods?
  2. No rush :) the mod will grow organically then. Personally haven't played skyrim since around release and I'd like to have my first modded playthrough as new to me as possible so can't help with the bed placement unfortunately. I'm an aspiring modder myself, yet won't be starting for several months yet. However I have found that ideas for my planned mods have came in waves to me, and developed over time, so don't rush it :D you're doing good man!

  4. Defnitely. Keep chipping away slowly at the mod over time and you never know what it might become! Modders may join your cause later on (fingers crossed). Keep posting meaningful updates like this too :). Nice idea with the encounter too, love little bits like that.
  5. In an ideal world it would be amazing to see the temple go through several transitions, where it's built up slowly but surely. But I imagine that's very demanding and difficult technically. But for the sake of simplicity maybe leave the broken rumble but have a few generic npc's that comment on the pillars and fixing them? Also nice :P with the Auroran I also really like the purifying idea presented by shadowm4ster, but I imagine there you need to be cautious of the workload?

  8. I'm a complete noob but I can't quite help but personally feel that that's a rather dim view perspective on modding, no offense :). There's always room for new solutions and methods. However in this particular example I do agree the amount of work is the problem. I know this is probably minor news to OP, but if they would like to make at least normal combat more fluid, there's this.
  9. It's a brilliant concept yeah, and would be wonderful. But as mentioned above, the amount of work I imagine would be insane. However I have seen a few mods which work on things like combat rolls (that were impressively fluid) etc.

  12. There's a beautiful mod for potions that make them more pleasing/interesting to the eye, covered by brodual here. It does mess with the scale of some of them, but not all. Sorry it's not exactly what you'd like but it might be of interest to you, as some are changed to classic vials I believe.

  15. Would it be possible to link the activator to an inventory object, a journal or notebook of somesuch? Ive only ever played around with weapon mods in my personal modding experience so I dont know about scripts or whatever that sort of thing would require. 0 modding experience myself. Due to start this Summer. But I imagine you could hotkey an item/journal/object and use an existing animation to pull it out and quicksave? Would be cool not to use menus etc
  16. The new windpath player home has a similar feature where it saves by you sitting at a desk and writing into a journal. So definitely doable but not sure how you'd implement the activator or item or whatever triggers it.

  20. Why the hell did you even ask then!? Why are you complaining about it? Do it if you play it then. Crazytexan I have seen you make lot's of requests ... some I hoped to make myself if all goes well when I get into it. But what the actual flip is this kinda response/behaviour!?

  22. I'm pretty sure a mod exists somewhere that changes the visuals ... the name escapes me though. Have a root around. Edit: Nevermind, I've looked myself and cannot find it, I'm sure there was one about a year ago but I guess it could have been removed or whatever if I'm right.
