  1. If you read her post, she says that you must e-mail her for a link. It says very clearly: "These outfits are my babies and as such will try to maintain some exclusivity of them. If you are interested in the outfits email me at ************@gmail.com" Unquote. Her e-mail address is in the description by the picture.
  2. Thank you WA  That was the exact answer I was looking for - and hoped for :) I couldn't care less about CC. I don't use MO but NMM. But I really don't mind about my loadorder. Last time I had to reinstall was at last years christmas sale. All of my saves went down the drain. And I'm - more or less at least- mentally prepared for starting over again. If nothing else I can get rid of a lot of dust gathered from trying out - too many- mods over the year  I'll just make sure to keep a backup of my looksmenu presets and my bodyslides. Right now I'm deep into New Vegas with a couple of characters as a break from FO4. And that game at least is a lot easier to recreate.
  3. In a few days I have to reinstall my gaming rig. Win 10 won't update and MS support is running out of ideas. That of course entails reinstalling Steam and FO4 - And almost a years worth of socalled updates that I'd rather have nothing to do with. I know there's a way to go back once everything is working order. In my case I've got a perfectly running 1.9.4 setup. And I'd like to keep it that way. Can I use my present FO4 .exe once my game is up and running again? And I've gone off-line on Steam as I've done for the past many months.
  4. I DID give it a try. But my patience ran out - FAST.......... THEN I understood the meaning of the "shortcut" mods :D
  5. OK - I'll see if I can find a manual on it. Just hoped somebody had the answer up his sleeve :) Thanks :)
  6. Is it possible to add companion ammo to an already existing companion mod using FNVedit. I loaded one of my old mods and just found out I have to give him ammo myself. I COULD reisntall the GECK . But I'd rather not
  7. I haven't experienced that exact problem. But as a veteran Fallout player I've long since learned to use an autosave program - such as CASM for New vegas- or simply massaging F5 every so often. It does happen that I forget and......... :wallbash:
  8. My usual approach is to run it through FNVEdit first and have it tell me what I'm missing.
  9. Well - I think that you'll only see something in the "required" tab if the author has put it there. I've been surprised myself a few times until I bought the S-Pass at christmas sale.
  10. Not that much about Europe either. My imagination sends me this way for Down Under: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/On_the_Beach_(novel) Or something along these lines. Of course - set in the Fallout universe there are bound to be survivors, as radiation doesn't pose the same danger as in RL. And I guess that there'd be plenty of energy from geothermal powerplants.
  11. Sounds interesitng. Dores anyone have a link for BS Defence? I cannot seem to find it on the Nexus.
  12. Hmm - Have to go way back now. Fallout 1: Dogmeat and Tycho Fallout 2: Sulik - he was hilarious :) John Cassidy - Cass' father and - of course- Marcus. I almost always ended up with that crew. Fallout 3: Charon - as glum as he is. Dogmeat - though vulnerable. Jericho and Clover - I'd cheat to get them but......... :) New vegas: Veronica - nuff said :D Over time I grew to like Arcade and he's always on my team for some period of time now. Fallout 4: Piper and Cait. And there's something about Deacon too - as odd as it may sound :) OK - read your post again. Seems as if I'm getting off topic but.......... Non companions: Fallout 1: Killian Darkwarter, Harold, Nicole Fallout 2: Harold, Goris, Frank Horrigan Fallout 3: Moria......... :D But there are quite a few other interesitng people in FO3 scattered among the settlements. Sorely lacking in FO4 New vegas: The same goes here. The factions are on a general basis a lot more interesting - if you're into black hat vs. white hat stuff :)
  13. Maybe I do not quite understand this topic - maybe I do! I've sometimes had old .esps hanging around even after using NMM or FOMM for uninstalling. I go into my "data" folder and delete them manually.
  14. Played all of them. And I've got a compilation - FO1, -2 and Tactics. Just recently I installed FO1 again. But............ As much as I love that - and the other- games, I dropped out of it again. Playing FO3, NV and FO4 in RealTime makes the old turn based game waaayyy too long drawn out now  Still - as for gameplay, story, (dark) humor etc I'll still say that those old games are ahead of the newer ones. Political correctness is non existent - though you might find yourself shunned for being a child killer/slaver. But you can do it if you feel like going down that path. Likewise, the voice actors are doing a good job on making their characters some that you want to talk to again on the 10th playthrough. Cass' father usually stuck with me until the end in FO2. And Marcus too. And of course the random encounters. Hilarious......... :woot: Though finding yourself in a pitch dark place surrounded by deathclaws was a mean challenge. (Riddick in Fallout Tactics) Then again - stumbling on The Millennium Falcon for some good loot suddenly had the Star Wars theme ringing in my head :D If you've got the patience - by all means go for it. Give them a try. I've played a lot of different games. But ever since I got Fallout 1 I keep returning to this series
  15. Thank you both of you for your input. Got my game a bit more lively now. And GS is not quite as quiet anymore........
  16. OK Thanks. Checked it on the wiki again. It still persists in some form. But only on Xbox...........Oh well.......
  17. Last time I played DM my game would crash on getting knocked out in the bunker. It took a complete reinstall before I remembered to check the Wiki :wallbash: According to that it was because I was playing on hardcore. Unchecking hardcore before entering the bunker and rechecking once past the opening screens did the trick  Does anyone know if it is still an issue?
  18. I recently - well, 20 levels ago- installed New Vegas again after a FO4 break of more than one year. But....... somehow I remember it as more intense. It seems to me there's a lack of enemies in certain areas compared to what - I think- I got used to back when. Especially the area around South Vegas ruins appears rather empty, apart from when I went head hunting. Last night I went to NV Steel and only encountered 3 - THREE- lonely fiends. And even the area around Vault three seems to hold less than half of the fiends. I've recreated my old loadorder except for one thing - I've added Project Nevada. Is it my memory playing tricks? Or am I missing something?
  19. I's think that depends on who you are. I usually stick with the Minutemen and the RR. BOS is a no go for me. I can't stand them. And I never really liked Power Armor, even though I admit that it is well done in FO4. Still - I DO lack the distinguishing factors between the different factions, that were so very apparent in FO3 and New Vegas. The FO4 soup - to me at least- lacks, not only salt, but most other spices too
  20. One thing though. It seems as if Curie is incurable........ (OK _ Bad one I know...... ) I tried to change her into one of my own presets. But no luck. In the end I downloaded an .esp changing her to something not far from what I'd like her to be. I then tried to change her appearance using SLM. But no luck
  21. 79 pounds........ o_O So cool. Thanks for sharing :)
  22. I've used both the .esp versions and the LooksMenu ones. The latter provide you with a better scope of fine tuning the character/NPC to your own liking. Even if you do not have all of the required files. While the .esp is more of a "What you see is what you get". But I haven't experienced problems using either :)
  23. Have you by any chance installed it in one of the program folders on your C drive? (Programs or Programs(x86) From what I've heard (read) that is asking for trouble. I created a folder named Steam in the root of my C drive. Making the install path look like this: C/Steam/Steamapps/common/Fallout4 Running win10. I've reinstalled the game once. And it is as stable as can be expected from a heavily modded game. MY NV crashes much more frequently.
  24. I don't think you can put any expiry date on mods. I'm ususally downloading manually alongside - or instead of- NMM. Which means that I've got quite an extensive library of mods squared away on my drives. Dating all the way back to when the game was released and modding started using FO4edit. I'm at 1.9.4 now. And I haven't experienced any trouble loading my favorites. Even some old ones no longer around. MY main problem has been building mods - SKE, Homemaker etc- not wanting to work smoothly together. This has taken a bit of fiddling and deciding which were most important to me.
  25. Hmm - maybe this is out of context, maybe it is not. But I first dicovered modding - or mods to put it more precise- when playing Silent Hunter III. That game was released by Ubisoft back in 2005. I remember DLing a massive 1 Gb! of - mainly- graphic mods for this terrific game. Bethsofts were not the first - nor will they be the last. No matter how much CC stuff they put up :)
