This looks like a great companion to have. I'm going to put her in my load order and also in the Jewel of the Commonwealth guide.

I think this would be a nice mod to have. I'd like such a mod to be able to coexist with the mod that prevents Dogmeat from opening human doors.

May all the raiders in your lives trip and fall over their pipe pistols. Happy new year. :)

I just noticed that if I'm overencumbered, attempting to scrap weapons and armor at workbenches always results in a CTD. Sometimes the CTD occurs when I begin to use the workbench and haven't actually done anything with it yet. While not overencumbered, workbenches work as expected. Here is my load order.

I think that's feckin'-A. -
Using either the CK or FO4Edit, how would I edit subtitles? I'd like to go through my entire load order and create a patch that cleans up subtitles for everything - holotape voiceovers, dialog interactions, companion chatter, etc. It will be used as part of my player modding guide. Thanks!

BoS network scanner quest not working

This would depend entirely on your load order. What mods are you using? -
CTD when entering The Third Rail location.
audiodef replied to k9o3w's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
If the CTD is consistent, then the first thing I would do is disable all mods and verify that it doesn't happen in vanilla. Then, depending on how many mods you have, enable one to several at a time until the CTD happens, and narrow it down to whatever mod is causing it. Or possibly, which two mods together are conflicting and causing the CTD.- 1 reply

hucker75, I would love to see screenshots of your elevated settlement network. -
Took a look at this in FO4Edit. The Relations section of the SuperMutantFaction is "Friend, Ally, Ally." So maybe it has to do with crossing their boundaries.

Thank you! :)

I came across a mod recently that applies cinematic lighting during dialog so you can see everyone's faces if you happen to be having a conversation in a dark location. I passed over it at the time because I was in the middle of something else, and now I can't seem to find it again despite searching for different keywords. Does anyone know what it is and could you please link me?

I'd like to add my guide to this list: https://audiodef.com/jewelofthecommonwealth/ Tools used: MO2, BethINI, FO4Edit, LOOT, Wrye Bash, F4SE. I can be reached on these forums if anyone has any questions or comments.

I just finished an updated version of my player modding guide for FO4. https://audiodef.com/jewelofthecommonwealth/ If you have any questions or need help with something related to this guide, please post a reply to this topic and I'll do my best. I'd love to make it a collection, but unfortunately I use MO2. If someone wants to turn it into a collection - feel free! Anyway, I really hope this guide is useful to others. Enjoy.

There are a good number of gamers who depend on subtitles, so I thought I'd start a thread for people who might be kind enough to supply transcripts for mods that have no subtitles. My first go-to would be the mod author, but this is not always possible. I'd like to ask if anyone would be kind enough to type out the voiceover stuff for Depravity. This mod is new to me and I'm currently on the Murphy's Law quest, where I noticed no subtitles are supplied for the voiceovers. With that, I could make a patch that provides subtitles.

I'm updating my modding guide and using MO2 this time. I just noticed that Vilja is missing some functionality. She doesn't change into armor and she won't show me her gear. When I installed it, I had to right-click on the data directory to set it. None of this happens when installing the mod via Vortex. Anyone have any insight as to why this is happening?

I have version 307. Can you try using that and see if you have the same issue? -

Leveled Items: Because those are handled by the bashed patch. I just noticed that I need a second launcher for SSEEdit in Vortex without the -quickautoclean argument. Thanks for noticing. :) Thanks for the tips! I'll look into them when I can. -

Wow, that sucks. Those are good texture mods. I wish authors who delete their mods (or moderators who delete mods) would leave behind a reason why. Sure, if you want to suggest alternatives, I'll check them out and perhaps add them to this guide. Let me know if you have any questions. I'm not able to check this thread or my messages on a daily basis, but I'll see them eventually. -
This guide has moved to Blogger. It provides an easier-to-maintain format and allows me to easily update it without having to search a single lengthy document. https://fusroguide.blogspot.com/
