  1. yeah the unnecessary banter, or any scream that occurs on a stealth kill
  2. Is there a way to remove the enemy death scream/yell? It's very jarring for stealth kills and doesn't make sense when nearby enemies aren't alerted by it. A stealth kill by silenced pistol or knife should not allow the enemy to scream bloody murder.
  3. Once you build the caravan post, they will show up at Spectacle Island. I get random vendors and random events like minutemen visiting my Spectacle Island.
  4. Requesting new settler roles/jobs; CK is almost out! What do we want to see settlers doing? Roles: - Priest (as annoying as skyrim Heimskr), moves around settlement with open book and preaches; can script other settlers to idle nearby momentarily to listen, raises settlement happiness because some people need faith in the wasteland - Fisherman, sits where you assign and fishes - Bartender, does bottle tricks and uses wash cloth to clean glasses - Entertainer, plays drums on upside down pails/plays a guitar/sings at microphone; can script other settlers to dance animation nearby momentarily - Hunter, same patrol style as guards, wanders and kills creatures, loots the meat - Supervisor, walks around telling people to get to work ("No lollygagging") Overhauls: - settlers can go crazy; randomized event where random settler asks you for jet and promises it's just to try it once. if you give him jet eventually he will become addicted and scream "I can't take this anymore!" and attack the other settlers. giving him addictol right away will prevent this. - settlers try to recruit you into other factions; a minuteman whispers to you "Hey General, hear me out for second? We're a dying breed...etc"; depending on charisma you can convince him off the idea or let him bring you to a raider/BOS/Institute/etc camp - settlers fist fight each other for items/food; raider script - settlers talk to each other; in skyrim NPCs could converse with each other. why do fallout NPCs just walk around and talk to themselves or to you when you're not looking at them? should include NPC flirting, arguing, discussing, etc - settlers play around; randomized idle animations where an NPC shoots a tin can, sits down and plays chess with another NPC, junk jets a basketball at a hoop or a bowling bowl at the nearest bowling pin - settlers commit crimes; what makes a settlement immersive? the tendencies of a community without government. a random NPC will sneak and pickpocket another settler, or fist fight to the death over an item. if the player comes upon this randomized event, he/she will have to issue an order for justice by fee or death or exile from the settlement. you will have to pick a side and choose who was in the wrong. - settlers can get sick; random settler can become ill and will remain in stretcher bed/gurney if you have built one. they will be removed from the settler count and will not work. This way, when you see that your population decreased you can't assume that someone was killed. They can be cured by the player stimpacking them (easier to script) - settlers can get paid; as a bottlecap dump function, since end game wealth is often gamebreaking. should be an option to pay out a large sum to each settler (500 bottlecaps per settler) which will increase settlement happiness temporarily by +1 per 10 settlers (20 settlers = +2). this option is optional but gives you a reason to spend caps.
  5. Requesting a High Definition retexture of the Combat Knife just a simple improvement of the resolution and texture, please no changes to the style of the knife. no recolor, no metal change (damascus). Just HD realism version of the vanilla combat knife/Pickman's Blade. Thank you so much <3
  6. anyone know where to locate the files? I have BA2 but not sure where to look. Or anyone can replace the files with transparent images?
  7. This sounds very possible. There are already arcade models in the game, that raider lounge with pinball machines. a modder could use the arcade model, link with activating the pipboy display for a game.

Requesting a mod to throw basketballs will need: - animations for a freethrow (two hands jump shot) + hands animation in first person view - mechanics same as using junk jet (tweak numbers for realistic force/trajectory) Then we can play basketball with the basketball hoop/court settlement decoration, maybe have a shelf or cart of basketballs haha
  9. itd be treated as a decal so itd take up performance if you graffitid a lot of stuff, and you wouldn't be able to remove it easily

  11. Requesting a mod that despawns enemys' dropped weapons to prevent save file bloat I've been picking up after the corpses and storing in the next container I see; it's getting tiresome. I still see pipe pistols I missed long after the cell resets with new enemies.

Okay guys here is something I found on animated .DDS files: http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=42664.0 You just make a gif-like sequence of stills and play them with an .EFF I've also found forums saying you can batch convert .DDS sequences with existing nvidia or ati tools entirely possible to make animated loops; let the modding begin and the trivial bickering stop
  13. it's a repeatable radiant quest so I'm not sure if this is something that can be done via console? actually I'm not sure if it's a quest. Neriah would just be available to sell blood samples to. If she's dead I don't think the game even registers a quest but still keeps them in the leveled lists.

  16. Requesting a mod to remove an enemy's yell/scream on death; retain sounds for all injury until final blow which should be silent. For immersion purposes. Benefits of this mod: - one hit stealth kills are silent (one shot, Sandman knifing, knife stealth kill, etc.) (a surprise shot thru enemy lungs or Sandman slitting throat and they scream??) - one hit kills make sense (raider opens door, shotgun to the stomach, nothing heard but the shot and then body hitting the floor)
  17. For those who have destroyed the Brotherhood, we don't need viable blood samples showing up in leveled lists. It is slightly immersion breaking when the quest for Neriah isn't even available. Requesting a mod to remove 'viable blood sample's' from loot. Thank you!
  18. Extract ba2 files with Bethesda Archive Extractor, find the power armor texture files, retexture the diffuse file (labeled with a 'd') with Gimp/Photoshop and save with Nvidia DDS plugin. I just started modding so I might be missing something.
  19. Requesting a mod that removes all HUD vaultboy animations for perk effects (example: the vaultboy that appears on screen when Idiot Savant/Sandman/Well Rested/etc activates) For immersion gameplay
  20. Skyrim had big mods that allowed vampiric sight/night vision with a hotkey. Is this possible for FO4 without the CK? I'd like to activate/deactivate night vision with a single key instead of switching helmets or eyewear or weapons. I can assume my field synth helmet has this function
  21. I wish I had thought of the squirrel and iguana thing, and also ducks. damn.
  22. use console and scrapall. also there are mods already made to scrap even more junk in one go.
