Google for "Improved Child NPC 1.0", it does exactely what you want. It does require some stuff though, like Beautiful people, etc etc.

Err... olha2... we are talking about the character CREATION screen here. You know, when you first create your character? Or use the "showracemenu" cheat? That is character creation. TE: As far as I know there is no such mod since most of the controls (like the mouse wheel) are disabled during character creation. You could try something like fov 100 - but I don't know if that is a good idea XD

From the texture quality I'd say it could also be Halofarm's Northern Suthay. Similar race, waaay better textures.

I have to say I'*ve had this issue before with both the download button AND the download tab. Clicking it just resulted in the page scrolling to the top. I think this happens when your internet download rate is low and the tabs just refuse to load.

As for Flintlocke's answer: of corse it's still a "ripped version" if it uses parts of the rip. And please, that top is still 1:1 from Witcher2, while the coat thingy on her shoulders is not. Be that as it may, the best way to get your hands on mash ups is still to not only "pursue the pics" but simply contact the member who uploaded the screenshot in question. Because since mash ups use parts from all over the place, they are rarely posted where they can easily be found.

Actually Witcher2 stuff is free to use, so they aren't really considered illegal rips.

Oblivion dump me into desktop
chakaru11 replied to zelazko's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
Errr.... not to be the party pooper here, but this is not caused by background processes or anything else. It's a common bug that appears after alt tabbing one too many times out of the game in window mode. Solution: Delete your INI file in your files->documents->my games->Oblivion Then start the game. Oblivion automaticalle recreates the Ini file and runs the game with vanilla graphic settings. Set your graphic settings back to what they were before and you should be fine. Only real hassle: If you are running a custom UI like DarN, there is one more step you have to follow: after you started the game to make it generate a new Ini file, close it and open OBMM. Deactivate your UI OMOD and then immediately activate it again. Done. -

I CAN :D Help there, I mean. You can assign animations like idles, fighting animations etc to every single companion. It's actually rather easy. First thing you need to do is the following: Find the animation .kf files you want, and copy paste them to a save place. If you want to make a companion use DMC for example and don't want every other character in the game to use it, copy paste all DMC stylish animations to a save folder. Now rename them. Yes, every single one. It's tedious, but you will see why. Important: only the last part of the name can be changed. Example: twohandidle.kf can be renamed into twohandidle_companionname.kf Or if you want to use an idle, rename it to idle_companionname.kf. See the pattern? :D The first part of the name has to stay the same, otherwise the construction set will ignore the kf. Once you have renamed all the animation files (there will be a LOT of them), copy paste them into this folder: meshes -> characters -> _male -> specialanims. There will be a lot of other animation files already in there, that's one of the reason we renamed our files. Once all the animation files are in there, open the CS and load the companion's esp. Now go to the object window and to actors ->NPCs. Find your companion in the huge NPC list. If it is a custom race, it should be easy to find. Once you found your companion, double click it to open the NPC window. Go to the ANIMATIONS tab. It might take a second to load, don't freek out XD To be save, you can check the "full view" box under the preview window. Now look at the long list of animations. The ones checked red are the vanilla ones, ignore them. Now find your animations in the list. They should be easy to spot, since you renamed them. That is reason number 2 for the namechange. Check every single animation by ticking the box. Don't worry if the preview window gets stuck, it happens. Once every custom animation is checked, SAVE. DONE. Now load the game (there is NO need for a clean save for this companion since animations work immedately) and your companion should use the custom animations :) It takes some time, but once it's done, it should be bug free and easyto handle. If you don't like all the animations the companion uses, just uncheck them the same way you activated them. It does work with any companion, not just the CM based ones. I have so many companions and they all have custom animations, depending on their weapon or class XD I am a freak like that.

Casting Runes and Summoning Circles.
chakaru11 replied to Perrinwolf's topic in Oblivion's Mod Ideas
Haha, this is totally my cup of tea. :D I have been adding magic circles to a lot of teh midas spells in the past AND runes. Adding a magic circle to spells is not that hard, at least not on the ground. I simply added a carpet mesh to most of the Midas Magic spells and textured it with a magic circle. I have no idea how to do that with vanilla spells though. I do prefer daedric runes myself and use them the most though XD Video: Edit: Midas magic spells with rune/magic circles are mosty the bursts: Fire/Ice/Holy Burst and some of th barriers. Just open the midas magic spells in Nifskope and check the textures and meshes. -
Question: Did you recently install Natural Environments? Because I had this happen too after installing it: it rained for an entire week. After that it was fine. About the fw codes: depending on the weather code you use, the transist back to the weather from before after a short while. 38eee never lasts long. If you want a nice sunset sky, try 370ce, that should last a little longer.

How does others get such wonderful graphics
chakaru11 replied to sasuke24's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
Well there are several ways to improve the graphics. 1.) Additional software/mods Examples: - OBGE (Oblivion Graphic Extender) Look for it on the Nexus or google it - it adds additional shaders and graphic elements like realistic water, godrays etc etc. - Texture replacers like Quarls Texture Pack etc etc. Looking at the specs of your computer I'd say it should be able to handle high rez textures on anything. 2.) Ini tweaks The Oblivion ini allows a lot of tweaking to enhance the graphic performance. Google "Oblivion ini tweaks" and you should find a lot of suggestions on how to edit the ini to make your game look better. -
Game crashes when using mods
chakaru11 replied to sasuke24's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
Oh O.o Usually every mod comes with folders for "textures" and "meshes". Those need to go in your Oblivion Data directory. Without them the game only has the esps but not the files to work with. But this thread: http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/382289-oblivion-mods-common-questions-and-problems/ can explain all this a lot better than I ever could :) -
About that pic: The dungeon looks a lot like something from The Sundered Keep, at least the red light reminds me of it. The race looks like the Lattamer race, the hair is by sulhwa if I am not mistaken.
-
Yes, ewww, the flopping slaughterfish on land thing O.o I had that happen in my game once too, in the middle of the main road leading through Weye. The creepy thing was that the NPCs happyly followed their daily tasks, totally ignoring the floppy fish in the middle of the road. Martigens Monster Mod can lead to serious WTF moments in the game. I had a whole family clan of smugglers swimming around in the flooded part of a dungeon like peaceful school of fish. They never attacked me, just floated around in the water together.

I agree with the post above. The most likely reason for the problem is that you are trying to patch the basegame with a patch file for the Shivering Isles.

Game crashes when using mods
chakaru11 replied to sasuke24's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
When you say "run them as a data file", you mean you ticked the little boxes in the mod list? Usually when the game crashes on load it means that you are missing an esm (master file). So you need the esms and the esps to be ticked off in the list. So my first advice would be to check the download sites for both mods and see if you did not only download updates, but the entire base files with the esms. -
Nope, the stuff does not respawn. If you take some of the weapons or make a mess by knocking them from the stands and tables, you will haveto clean it up yourself. The triangles always stand for missing meshes. Since the triangles are in the official armor and weapon rooms, those COULD be downloaded mods, but I have the suspicion that it's the Shivering Isles. Did you uncheck the SI esp in your mod list?

You are both right about the bow, Nico made it, but Apachii later used it for the mod. It's listed in the credits and recource list of Apachii Goddess Store:

Yeah, I agree that 20 summoned creatures are too many AIs to handle for Oblivion. They will most likely stimply stand around and do nothing. Midas Magic for example has two spells that summon multiple creatures (barbarian horde and dremora horde), always consisting of 6 - 7 creatures at best. You can of corse stack those spells and cast them again and again to fill the cell you are in with dremora or barbarians - but then they don't really do anything, as in their AI dies and they simply stand around. If you want to summon 20 full NPCs (!) with working, friendly AI (player faction) which are supposed to be on your side PLUS the enemies you want to fight PLUS your own character... it simply won't work. My memory might be wrong but I think there is a line in the ini file that alters the amount of working AIs in your close proximity. But I doubt that would make this possible.

Saraane: All three of the hairs you are looking for are from sets by SK Ren - but they are not included in the ancient file floatinr around on mediafire. No idea if you can find these via google, but they are out there. The brown outfit in the second screenshot is a Witcher2 rip, it's Triss' outfit. Since Witcher2 rips are not illegal, you should be able to find it. Edited. -myrmaad

Okay, imma gonna try my hand on finding it. ...edit: YAY GOOGLE! It sent me back to... this page. >.< I'll keep trying XD Question: is there actually an English version of it and you just can't find it or do you HOPE there is an English version out there somewhere? ...edit2: I found SOMETHING. I have no idea which version it is. So don't hit me >.< Reuploaded: http://www.4shared.com/file/0eXoW-sH/the_elder_scrolls_4_oblivion_A.html
