  1. I'm sure they're referring to Richard Mourdock, the Indiana state treasurer who is currently running for Senate. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Mourdock
  2. Think nothing of it. There are so many of those ini files. I can't tell you how many times I've gone to look for one to change and I find it and say "this must be it". And it's not. Before it's all over with, I"ll have changed every single ini file but the one I need to.
  3. It's the SkyrimEditor.ini that needs to be changed. That's in Steam/steamapps/common/skyrim. Not the one in Documents/My Games. Editing that one doesn't seem to change anything.
  4. I've not noticed any water in buckets but I do know there's a static water trough with water. I used it in my last mod.
  5. Has anyone tried to add or delete an existing location from the radiant quest system? I've been modifying the Roadside Ruins location in Falkreath and I wanted to take it out of the radiant quest rotation if it's possible. I know that location is used by the Companions. I already removed it as a clearable location. I just didn't know if there was anything more to it than that.
  6. I hear ya. I'm pretty anxious too. I was ready to start modding the first week and have been chomping at the bit ever since. I should have just worked on mods for other games while I was waiting but never did. Just sat here, twiddling my thumbs, like an idiot.
  7. Yes, believe in what somnyus tells you. The CK will make house mods ever so much easier to make. Just wait a little longer for it to be released. You'll be happy you did.
  8. Yeah, they're kind of dotted around here and there, in the woodsy areas. They're easy to overlook, I've noticed. I swear when the CK comes out and I start making houses, some of them are going to have a few beehives, like the ones they have at Goldenglow Estate.
  9. Once again, there's a distinct lack of comfy furniture in the land. Would any of you talented modeling people be able to make a nice couch and chair resource? I'd love to be able to add nice sitting areas to all the new housing mods that I'm planning.
  10. It would be wonderful if it were released today. But I'm sure it won't be. I'd give it at least another week or two before I'd really start looking for it to show up.
  11. Is anyone able to find me the id for the archmage gloves? I'm using a texture replacer for the female archmage robes and I found the id for the boots and robes but nothing for the gloves. I was checking out this Skyedit program. Would I be able to the get the id with that? Update: After some investigating, with Skyedit, I couldn't even seem to find any archmage gloves. I have my doubts now that they even exist. So in light of that, I just chose something else to replace instead, a pair of gauntlets that I was never going to use in the game as they were. Problem solved. I thank anyone who took the time to read this. This thread could be closed if the moderators prefer it.
  12. Yeah, we definitely do need these, especially considering there are nests with eggs in them laying around everywhere, and no obvious birds that laid these eggs. Strange. I adore this game but I'm completely mystified by some of the decisions that they made for it, like the missing birds and crates that no longer serve as containers.
  13. This post made me laugh. A lot. There's some really great screens on there. I'll be using some for wallpaper. Thank you for sharing them!
  14. Perfect! Thanks, you guys. I'm very happy to hear that we won't be stuck, Three's Company style, in the Whiterun house.
  15. I was thinking of marrying my character off to Vilkas, in Whiterun. Now I own the house in Whiterun, but being Thane means that Lydia lives there also (usually hovering over my bread, clearing her throat every two minutes). I would much prefer to live in the house in Solitude or Markarth, since there isn't a housecarl in either one of those. Does anyone know if you get the option to have your spouse live in any house that you own? Or do they automatically have to the go to whatever house you own that's closest to them?
  16. That's who I've had my eye on for my character ever since she joined the Companions. He's tough, handsome, tortured. What more could you want? ;D
  17. That was great. My husband reads that site all the time. I'll have to point this one out to him. He'll get a kick out of it.
  18. Yeah, now that you posted that pic, they do remind me an awful lot of gypsy vanners. Evillamas, I was worried about my horse and dragons then I noticed that whenever one showed up in the sky, the horse takes off. It was actually kind of funny. ;D
  19. I happened to find him just standing around during the day in the market area, over by the dark elf lady that sells food. He's also the owner of the Riften Fishery so you might find him there as well.
  20. You have to gain fame from the people of Riften. You can do a few quests for them, like Bolli. After I delivered a purchase order for him, then the Jarl made me Thane and the option to buy the house from the steward became available.
  21. 5000 is the cheapest as far as the buyable houses go. They go up from there. Honeyside, the house in Riften is 8000. If you go to that college in Winterhold and join, I think you get quarters for free.
  22. I'll be getting it on the pc. Already pre-ordered it from Steam. We own an xbox but a big part of this series appeal to me is the mods so it just seems a bit pointless to buy it for the console as well.
  23. According to what I've read, during Bush Jr.'s admin, the debt ceiling was raised seven times. I don't remember hearing about any of those times. *lol* I wonder how much of a fuss was raised when Clinton did it (5 times) , or Reagan (18 times), and I think it's been raised a couple of times already since Obama became president. *sigh* True, but back then we also weren't about to lose our AAA credit rating or go over the rate of interest in a year that we make in a year. THAT is what makes it dangerous. We have to stop spending so much money! A household (unless it contains a bunch of idiots) realizes this and cuts the budget. I would be fine with things like Obama care and expensive researches... if we were not about to run out of money... Oh, and the whole print it out of thin air... isn't going to work much longer. *lol* You don't really need to sigh at me. I understand and agree with most everything you said. I understand why the debt ceiling needed to be raised right now, but it's definitely something we need to stop doing at the drop of a hat. We're in such a bad position right now that we need to cut spending significantly and increase revenue. Doing one or the other by itself will help, but we'd be in a lot better shape down the road if we did both.

  25. Hmmmm, just wondering.....when I have the exterior I want to edit up, I see the Landscape in the list of items. I right click on it and choose Edit, but then nothing happens. Shouldn't an edit window pop up?
