  1. Thanks, stevie! I'm assuming I do that with the Landscape Editor or whatever that thing is.
  2. Is it possible to remove the grass in a particular exterior location with the GECK? I seem to remember being able to do that rather easily with TES: Construction Set but I'm not figuring it out with the GECK.
  3. You definitely want the Poco Bueno Texture pack. It breathes a lot of new life in the old, everyday objects of the Mojave.
  4. I know I've been spending too much time with it when I'm at work, doing work things, but in my head I'm planning the furniture placement in my new housing mod.
  5. Rats. I was kinda looking forward to seeing them in your mod. Oh, well. In any case, I'm waiting (not so very) patiently for the release! I've kind of lost interest in NV the past few months but I know your mod would get me into it again.
  6. Hey, wayne, what about Mr. Silka's Farm Animals? I only ask because this is the one I've been dying to convert myself for a while and haven't had any luck so far.
  7. Thank you, simplywayne, for putting this thread together. And a big thanks to everyone who can make the cool stuff I can't. I'm finding so many useful things here. :)
  8. I'm kind of crazy for the furnishings in Dead Money myself so feel free to include them.
  9. This is Grace. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v215/cira1/grace.jpg
  10. David, your suggestion to redo both doors from scratch worked like a charm. I must have not been hovering over the right area of the door all this time. I can't thank you enough. :D
  11. Thanks, you two! I was able to fix the marker but David, you're right. This doesn't appear to be the problem. The interior door now seems to take me somewhere in the back of the bunker itself. Now I've always had trouble with the Select Reference in Render Window option. Whenever I go to choose the exterior door to link to the red crosshair cursor never changes to white so when I double click on the door, nothing happens. Obviously I'm missing something.
  12. I was modifying an existing bunker into a player home tonight and I linked the outside door to my cell, and when I tested it, I could enter my cell just fine but couldn't exit back out into the wasteland. It just took me to a short hallway and then a grey area. I invested the exterior and I noticed that the yellow cell marker was turned back toward the door instead of pointing away from the door. Is that the problem? How do I fix this? I can click on the marker and drag it but I can't seem to turn it around at all that I can see. Help, please? I'll be forever grateful.
  13. I'm sure they will eventually. We'll probably get it at the same time as the PS3 people, since we're not as special as the Xbox people. I kid the Xbox people really. It's probably just due to some business deal they made. Damn them! *shakes fist*
  14. This game and the movie Showgirls is probably the closest I will ever get to seeing Vegas. The city just doesn't have any interest for me at all. I could name more recognizable places of interest in London or Paris than I could Vegas or DC, for that matter. Apart from the buildings at the Mall area in F3, DC could have been any other city for me. And I'm an american. That being said, I love the games. F3 more than New Vegas just because I thought they handled the setting a lot better. I certainly have my preferences of where I would like to see the next game set. I have no interest in Hollywood at all but I'm certain I would enjoy the game just fine if it was done right.
  15. If it stayed in the US my choice would definitely be Chicago and the surrounding area. Lots of potential there. If it moved to another country then London would be a great choice.
  16. I remember finding a mod for Fallout 3 that was called Dogmeat's Chewtoy. It made Dogmeat essential and also put a chewtoy in your inventory that you could use whenever Dogmeat ran off. When you activated it, Dogmeat would appear to you no matter where you where. I loved it. You didn't have to worry about the dog getting killed somewhere and you couldn't find him. It also allowed him to be with you in places that he normally wouldn't have been able to be, like Point Lookout. I would love it if someone could make something like this for Rex. Please? I'm putting on my best winning smile here.
